Makeup Club Makeup has been around for centuries. People would do crazy things just to change their appearance. They would even unknowingly risk their health by using chemicals like lead and mercury (Healthy Beauty). It took years for people to finally become educated about makeup. Today makeup is an art. It’s used in various ways from basic everyday application to extravagant Hollywood makeup. By having Makeup Club at school it could teach members how to properly use makeup. We will also do fundraisers for the club and or school. Besides providing for the school, Makeup Club will benefit the community. We will do volunteer work at the elementary and middle schools
The advancement in the cosmetic industry has increased since the introduction of makeup towards young teenager has become viral. To these students, makeup is an experiment on finding this true passion and beauty. The article, “Makeup is a form of Art”, states that makeup is an art form when seen in the perspective of human beings as a canvas and that, “Each day, the canvas is blank yet again and a new makeup look can be created.”In addition, every shade of eye shadow, every lip shade, and the different type of brushes all incorporate the transformation of a person's personality or ideas to deliver the message of who they are. Young girls and guys from the ages twelve to around 18 begin their introduction of makeup out of curiosity and issues with insecurities, but part of it was accumulated with the idea of building it into a talent. In one of my interviews, I selected Thalia Zuniga to represent this argument as she is a woman who created her own YouTube channel and a separate Instagram account that gives her the ability to share her artistic concepts to other people. She states, “Makeup is an art. I don’t put pink on my eyelid because I'm insecure. I wear makeup because it is an art, it’s a way to transform yourself into a form of art itself… it takes skill to get to the beautiful, creaseless beauty that makeup is,”
Of course, like any beginner, it took time to get the hang of it; but the allure of new designs and bright colors ensured I didn’t stay clueless for long. However, not everyone supported this interest. Friends wondered why I had changed, especially since I had been at the same school since kindergarten. Any difference was magnified, and often unwelcome. But for me, makeup represented more than a way to be cool or pretty-- it meant I was free to grow and

Sephora also offers classes for teens and have makeovers where specialists talk about applying false eyelashes, smokey eyes, and have teen makeup demonstrations. Starting a makeup career depends on whether the artist feels as if they already have the skills necessary to perform well in their field of work. Numerous artists chose to further their education and get a master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in fashion or cosmetology. Makeup is a revolutionary tool used by women and few men to enhance their outward appearance; it was created with the intent to enhance the beauty in women and allow them to embrace their natural given features, not to hide
Joining my school’s Associated Student Body (ASB) has allowed me to improve the environment and atmosphere at school while also giving myself a greater voice. As the recent class secretary and future class president, I am committed to enhancing the experiences of my peers in high school. In a school that is vastly underfunded and with many students living in poverty, it becomes hard for students to become spirited and support our fundraisers because of the mediocre quality of our school as well as simply being unable to afford things. My class and I are dedicated to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to make the most of their high school experience, regardless of their background. From selling frozen goods to reduce prom charges
Wearing makeup has become a social norm for women. Little girls put on costume makeup to play dress up because they see the “beautiful” women on TV and in the media wearing it. Those “beautiful” women become the young girls’ idols and they start to admire their looks and replicate
When I first started my first semester at my community college, I was enthusiastic to initiate a connection with the student body. When ‘Club Day’ was hosted as I walked around the tables I saw usual clubs that a college would have such as robotics, math club, charity club, however there was not a club that focused on Earth conservation. I still appreciated the other clubs, but I saw the opportunity to create a new club that would focus on my interest in conservation and sustainability.
God gave us all unique faces, all beautiful in their own ways, so why not have a little fun with them? Why not show off what we love about ourselves, show how we like to display our features, and talk to our friends what we love about them? Wearing makeup gives us a chance to do just that. Society today, though it denies even the slightest notion of it, tells us that if we look and feel good, we should also feel some kind of insecurity. We have the ability to wear makeup in a way that fights against this idea. Makeup has the capability to transform us into confident people, which in turn molds us into braver and more courageous lights for Christ. In addition, makeup can show who and what we are as people, just like a passion
Throughout time the world’s perception of makeup has always been seen as a way for women to enhance their facial features, a way to feel more accepted into society, and as a way to gain the attention of another individual. Society has set specific standards that women and only women can wear makeup. Although in theater productions it was socially acceptable for men to paint their faces, it was not encouraged that men use their cosmetic abilities outside of performances. Many cultures have drilled the idea into their son’s heads that they cannot wear or play with makeup because they would lose their masculinity. Applying makeup was never seen as a way of self expression, but that a woman's natural beauty wasn’t good enough and that her
