Malala want to go back to her home in Swat Valley and Pakistan, there is more the one reason why I don't believe Malala should or be able to go back to her home. One reason is Malala now known as an activist in her home town can be very dangerous for her and her family. Having the Taliban still there can make every happen to her all over again but worst. How I feel about the taliban is they are like the Khmer rouge in my father country. They are people of the same kind killing each other because they want to have everyone scared of them. But in cambodian there not more Khmer rouge not like in Pakistan and Swat. The second reason is what I had see on the news about the Taliban. There nothing that had change, everything is the same there are the same thing is still going on today as when Malala was there but worst. Having see this make me feel very strongly that if Malala go back it just like walking into a death trip for herself and her family. I don't think that the Taliban doing is going to stop. They are still going have in there mind that they have to get Malala for what she had did, speaking up for all the girls education. If Malala want to go back I storingly think the only good time is if the Taliban is no longer doing the thing they are doing or if they all die. The Taliban still doing the things they do but worst, is one of the strongly reason why I feel Malala should not go back at all. It like an activist and Taliban don't see eye to eye at all. The
The article , “Malala the Powerful”, By Kristin Lewis, describes a girl who got hurt for what she stood up to in the world, so her and other went through lots of courage and challenges. That are still happening in this world today. But a lot of what she and others went through is still going on today in Taliban. Malala was a girl who fought for others girls to be in school that affect the world because if the taliban knew the would kill them or hurt them are something like that. when the Taliban came around and stroll the streets she still went to school, but she hid herself and the other children as well. As she was getting on a bus one, day two men walked up and asked for Malala and she got up they shot her. She recovered,
In the article, Malala the Powerful by Kristen Lewis, she described how Malala and other people ruled by the Taliban around 2007, had to follow many harsh rules ordered from the Taliban. Many people perished because of not following the religious rules. Malala stood up to the Taliban while they ruled. She did not listen to the Taliban when they said that school was banned. She courageously stood up to the Taliban but yet still got shot. She crazily survived the shooting and is still alive and going to college today. Though the Taliban created huge challenges for Malala, she survived because she stood up to the Taliban with her great courage, and is getting a better education today.
Kristen Lewis’ article, “Malala the Powerful” was about how a girl as shot in the head by the terrorist group, the Taliban because she was using her voice to stand up and say everyone deserves an education, especially girls. In Pakistan, the religion is strict therefore the Taliban decided to control the government, that made life for women and girls brutal. The Taliban ordered that girls were not allowed to attend school. Malala completely disagreed so she used her voice on the internet incognito to bring awareness about what was happening. The Taliban was out of control, Malala’s family was forced to move South. With all the commotion she revealed her identity, making her well known world wide. Once news broke on who she was, the Taliban
They wanted to make an example of her. In 2012, on her way to school, 12 year old Malala’s bus was stopped by the Taliban, once her identity was discovered she was shot in the head at point blank range. The intention was that Malala’s death would strike fear into the other girls, to get them back under Taliban’s control. However, not only did Malala live, but she thrived! With the help of the United Nations, the American and English governments, she has inspired other girls around the world, started a foundation to help other girls, (www.malala.org) and has become the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize!
The shooting of Malala captured many people’s attention around the world which led to Malala gaining support. Also from celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Beyonce. There were different viewpoints, values and perspectives towards the shooting of Malala. But for the Taliban, they saw the shooting of Malala a warning to those who goes against them.
Malala wants every boy and every girl around the world to have the proper education he or she deserves. According to www.malala.org, “130 million girls are without school.” Malala stands up for girls rights and believes that no child should have to worry about not having a education. Malala once said that “We don’t learn the importance of anything until it is snachted from our hands.” This quote shows us that Malala knows what it feels like to have something very important snatched away from you.
Malala’s culture is very much known for being run by a dictator but out of all that negativity she still tries to see the good in her heart and country soon she becomes an around the world inspiration. She seas a powerful quote “one child one teacher one book one pen can change the world. ”And she serves many speeches to the free world and her dad was her inspiration because he was a teacher at a school working for his daughter's education. And this was the school in Morgora originally called swat valley her dad told her to stand up for every man and woman's rights.
Malala yousafizai was born on July 12, 1997 in Mingora, Pakistan. As she grow up she would support girl’s right to go to school. But a group of people known as the Taliban would target Malala just because she didn’t agree with girls not going to school so then the Taliban would issue a death threat against Malala and her family knew about the death threat (Kettler, 2016). Soon on October 9, 2012 when she was 15 years old on her way back to school on a bus a Taliban gun man boarded the bus and asked “who is Malala?” her friends would directly look giving her location away at her the gun man would aim at parts of her body that would kill her. He shot 2 times at the left side of her head and 1 Malala would be critically injured time
She learned to value education at a very young age and understood the power of a pen. When she was 10 years old when Taliban took over Swat and implemented many rules which were not acceptable to Malala. Rules such as CDs, DVDs, and TVs were not allowed in the home, women must stay in purdah, and girls could not be educated were against Malala’s thinking. For her education is very important and says “ when someone takes away your pens you realize quite how important education is (160)”. Education is a tool
Among these photos describing Malala’s life, the most astonishing one to me is “School Bombing”. In the picture, the school was in ruins because of bombing. Terrorists were so cruel that they didn’t care about the lives of these children. It could be referred that Malala was not the only one who suffered from the Taliban. She told the world the anti-human actions of the Taliban. On the other hand, the Taliban was not willing that children should join them instead of accepting “advanced” education, especially western education. They were afraid that people would stand out and start to fight against the Taliban if they got literate. So they were prohibiting any behavior that was against them. For example, although Malala was shot, her father
Malala Yousafzai is well known for her acts towards Women’s Rights due to the factors caused by the Taliban people. Malala (Biographyonline, Malala) was a regular Pakistan school girl when the Taliban started enforcing rules and restrictions against women. Women were no longer allowed to listen to music, receive education, or go shopping. If they did, they’d be punished by the Taliban. Malala loved school and refused to cower in fear like the rest of her classmates and community. Malala formed a secret blog with BBC expressing her feelings about how unfair women were being treated. Malala was then targeted by the Taliban and shot in the head. Malala suffered a coma, but
Now that she was safe from the Taliban, she could do exactly what her father said, “If you keep silent you better die the fight.” (He Named Me Malala). What her father said had completely inspired her which is why she began to write for the BBC, and gain international fame, along with attention from the Taliban. Malala said that she would not blame the gunmen; rather “an ideology shot her” (He Named Me Malala). This incident only empowered her because when she went to the West, she was inspired by the attack. She chose to be a voice for women’s rights and raise awareness against the Boko Haram and she eventually won the Nobel Peace Prize. Although it saddens her that she cannot go back to the Swat Valley she realizes that the work that she is doing in the West is monumental compared to what she would be doing living in the
Back in October of 2012, a young woman was shot in the head multiple times by Taliban Gunmen. After weeks of treatment in intensive care, the world remained in shock, and happy to learn the young girl, Malala, survived. The Taliban shot her because she was protesting for women’s education and the Taliban is against women’s rights. After Malala fully recovered, her story was released to the public. It started off at school with all of her classmates talking about what they wanted to become after school.
The Taliban came into power in 2005 in Pakistan and began dictating the civilians how to live their lives the “right Islamic way”. The people of the Swat District were forced to obey every command of the Taliban unless they and their families wanted to be killed. Women especially became very oppressed and had to enter Purdah, wear hijabs whenever in public, and were encouraged to not go to school. All westernized media, clothes and games were banned, anyone who did not follow the law would be shot. The community lived in such a terrible state of fear that Malala and her family were afraid to go outside where they were known as famous social, political and educational activists. A BBC correspondent contacted Ziauddin to make a blog from a school girl’s point of view on living under Taliban rule. Malala soon took up the challenge and related her experiences over the phone about her oppressive life in Swat Valley and the threats against girls like her for going to school. Eventually, her school had to close after many local school bombings, and then the whole valley had to be evacuated for the Pakistani Army to come wipe out the Taliban.
The Taliban tried to assassinate him to speak to them. Malala survived the attack and continued to campaign for peace and education. In her words “ Taliban are not our rulers. It’s my life; how I live it is my choice.” (311)that makes Malala resolves this conflict and not let her continue control by Taliban.
