Evaluate two (2) key changes in the selected company 's management style from the company 's inception to the current day. Indicate whether or not you believe the company is properly managed. Provide support for your position. Management style is a complete process of leadership used by managers within Coca Cola. The success of the management team has inspired its employees to meet their objectives. There are three main management styles that Coca Cola use, democratic, autocratic and the laissez-faire style. (Coca Cola 2010) The democratic leadership style consists of the leader sharing the decision-making skills with the group associates. Encouraging the benefits of the group members and by practicing social fairness, helps with the production of new ideas. Democratic happens when all managers, junior managers and employees are involved in the idea and the final decision process. This management style also promotes employee empowerment, and allows individuals and teams the responsibility of decision making within a given framework. The authoritarian leadership style preserves strict, close control over its followers by keeping close regulation of the policies and procedures given to the followers. (Journey 2016) The laissez faire style is viewed as a type of the "hands off" leadership style with the leader delegating tasks to their followers, while providing little or no direction.
