Mansfield Summit is a high school located in Arlington, Texas and belongs to the Mansfield Independent School District (MISD). Mansfield Summit has been open for thirteen years, and is one of the oldest high schools in MISD. The Title 1 campus has a diverse student body and offers several academic programs on its campus. Currently 50.6% of the students on campus participate in the free/reduced lunch program for economically disadvantaged students. Mansfield Summit’s percentage for those participating in the free/reduced lunch program is below the state average, but far above the district percentage. The free/reduced lunch program participant levels have seen an increase since Mansfield Summit’s opening in 2005. In 2005, the free/reduced lunch program was used by less then 20% of Summit’s students.
