I’m a hard worker. In the past months, I’ve been in charge of editing all official documents for the BYU-Idaho IT department. Because I am only able to work part-time as an international student, I have learned to be a fast worker, as well as precise, so that I avoid as many mistakes as possible as I go through all documents that need my revision. I’m passionate about literature. I moved

from Guatemala after my high school graduation with the hope of finding more literature that I had missed growing up in a country with poor access to education. I surpassed any expectations for young readers by excelling in comprehensive reading and analysis. Since I was very young, I have been interested in books and writing, and I have the firm belief that literature is a key element of culture and progress. I’m a fast learner. I speak English, Spanish, and French. I believe that language is just as important as literature, and I find that language is a bridge to understanding other cultures and other people. I’m a fast learner. In my previous job, I had to learn how to fix computers. I was hired with the expectation that my ability to learn could be applied in a field of which I had no experience. I saw my job in Tech Support as a challenge that was going to be immensely valuable to my life. In only a few months, I
Based on the second cover letter, the author wrote more details about their contribution to their prior workplace. The second cover letter, explained their attributes in more detail and listed how many years of experience they had at the Virginia Veteran’s hospital. The author of the second cover letter also included their level of education and expertise by listing how many years they worked as a nurse, what they are used to handling daily and how they can handle a stressful situation. The first cover letter was more vague. The author of the first cover letter, Addison Joyce, she mentions her previous work place, but doesn’t give detailed information on her years of experience and what position she worked out. She also boasts about her accomplishments
I am applying for the Communication internship position. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity working for your organization. I became aware of the opportunity online and also through my professors at High Point University.
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of reference and recommendation for Danielle Davis. Danielle has been a member of First Central Baptist Church for 9 years and I know her to be consistent, passionate, patient and intelligent.

Hi there. My name is Genevieve (Jenna for short) and I’m proud to say I am a part of CCU’s class of 2019. I come from a small town in the middle of nowhere in Harford County, Maryland. I have two younger sisters, so I’m the first one of the family to tackle this adventure. I’m planning on majoring in communication with a minor in photography. I discovered my passion for writing/business/broadcasting when I was placed into a journalism class in tenth grade. I never thought I’d end up being the business manager and one of many reporters on a staff that created a 20-page newspaper every month for the next three years, and a main anchor on our daily morning announcements.
I am a third-year student at Seton Hall University and I am writing to you with great enthusiasm regarding the internship opportunity with the non-profit organization, the National Urban League. I learned about the position during my winter break, as I wanted to use my leadership and interpersonal skills in working for a well-respected organization that dealt with issues that I consider important, which is improving African-Americans lives.
Ever since a young age I’ve enjoyed reading. My mother even read to me while I was in the womb. When I started kindergarten I was so eager to learn how to read. After I learned how to read my reading level was always significantly higher than the others in my class. I was reading chapter books in first grade. Similarly I was very excited when I learned how to write. Ever since then I have enjoyed writing and do it in my free time. I have been told and
I am pleased to share with you my resume as a possibility to work at Odette’s Student Investment Fund. This position will enhance my personal and career goals by dealing with competing priorities and taking on a variety of challenges and opportunities. With this in mind, a strong network of connections goes hand in hand with a strong entity such as The Odette School of Business.
My personal and professional lives are undoubtedly interwoven, and have been affected by my independent emigration from my native Iran at the age of 17. I knew that my desire to pursue higher education would be better fulfilled abroad, so, with the support of my parents, I decided to move to France. After I gained a degree in French language there, I moved to Los Angeles with my eyes set firmly on graduate school. The linguistic, cultural, and financial difficulties I faced during these times have played a significant role in teaching me about independence, perseverance, and resilience. Additionally, my diverse exposure to three very different cultures and languages has allowed me to become more accepting of others who are dissimilar from me, and has made better capable at communicating effectively.
Born in the Dominican Republic, at the age of 10, my family and I migrated to this country to fulfill the American dream. As a girl from a small Spanish speaking island, I had to maneuver through the public school system in order to achieve the goals that I once never thought I would conquer. With language being the ultimate challenge, I fundamentally had to learn the English language on my own. Yet through the frustration of inequalities and lack of resources presented to children in inner-city communities, ambition grew inside me. My mother would say to me “Everyone deserves to have a fair share of what they loved to do.” However, at the same time, I was also taught that nothing is easily handed to you, and that “if you want it, then you have to work for it.” I live by the words of my mother, and when I receive the opportunity to continue my education at
I'm a excellent writer and took many African American Studies classes. I also have a huge appreciation for the arts. I love to draw and I was apart of the drama and script writing club in High School. As such, I will be able to bring to the internship everything I learned as a English major which includes writing, communication, and leadership skills and my knowledge in art and
Being human, there are days where I give in and do not try as much as I should, but overall, I give school my all. My commitment to doing well in school is evident in my grades, alike to how the ability to be a hard worker is seen through both my involvement in theater and devotion to God. I refuse to blow off assignments and tend to spend as much time on each one as I require, which may need to be adjusted as school increases in difficulty, but nonetheless represents the willingness to work hard and contribute. This school year, I chose to do the Personal Project and decided to write a novelette. Writing has always been a passion of mine but I soon discovered the amount of work and time put into the largest amount of writing I have ever done. I completed the project on time because I was able to discipline myself to work, and for that I am proud. Particularly, my life at school represents the amount of work I contribute to that of which I am passionate and would be able to contribute to OIAIS’s
I am writing to express my interest in the Student Research Assistant position for Southampton Hoteliers Association. I apply for the job following a job posting listed on the association's website on January 1 this year.
Without the support of my father and the drastic change in my life, I understood that the only way to improve my quality of life was to study and find the passion to which I was going to dedicate the rest of my life. After careful thought, I decided to move to the United States. Leaving my family, I came to this country in search of knowledge, contacts and “greater opportunities”. During these years, I have been confronted with many obstacles, but I have been able to resolve them thanks in part to my dedication. When it comes to achieving my goals, I find it in myself to push myself until that goal it met. I consider that there is no lack of opportunities for someone that believes in their capabilities and is aware that nothing comes without sacrifice, meaning that hard work and dedication are required in order to achieve goals.
