There is a lot of speculation surrounding the events of her death. Some people think it was a suicide, others prefer not to believe that. There were even conspiracy theories that were triggered by alleged affairs with both John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy.

Blame was thrown around as to who exactly killed her and why. The most popular suspects of Monroe’s perceived “murder: was none other than America’s 35th president, John F. Kennedy and his brother, Attorney General Robert Kennedy. Many suspect that Monroe was hiding a “relationship” with John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, and they were the cause behind her death. It is believed that the Kennedys had her assassinated to cover up whatever affair that could have occurred, to protect communist secrets, or the mafia killed her to send a message to the president. Frank A. Capell was one of these believers. Capell was an anti-communist who self published a pamphlet, The Strange Death of Marilyn Monroe, in 1964 that claimed Marilyn Monroe’s death was murdered and it was related to her connection to the Kennedy family, more specifically the Attorney General. Capell accused Robert Kennedy of being a communist spy that had Monroe assassinated in order to keep her quiet (Truong) Now, private detective Milo Speriglio didn’t believe that the Kennedys were communists with ulterior agendas, however he did believe they were involved in Monroe’s death. In 1982, Speriglio makes a claim in his book, Marilyn Monroe: Murder Cover-Up, that mafia boss Sam Giancana ordered a hit on Monroe in order to send a message to the Kennedy’s to leave the mafia alone (Truong). Lee Harvey Oswald, the assassin, was caught at a movie theatre. Before he could be questioned, Oswald was shot by Jack Ruby, nightclub owner, in the basement of the Dallas Police Headquarters, while being led to a car, which was to transport him to the local county jail. This left the case unsolved as Oswald was not questioned properly. Ruby claimed he was distraught about the President’s death and that he did not want Mrs Kennedy to go through pain at the trial of Oswald, which was his reason for killing Oswald. This raised questions as Ruby was seen with Oswald various times, proving that Ruby and Oswald were acquaintances, and that Ruby may have had another motive for killing Oswald.

As a consequence we the people believe we all have equal rights, when living in a world of equality when no one is living discriminated by their race, religion and sex and all we do have are freedom, freedom to express our self we as women and people in actuality, at this point where in the world is that place of equality?
