In February 1885, Mark Twain published a new book, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. About a month later, the Library Committee in Concord, Massachusetts, reached a conclusion that the novel would be banned from the town's public library. It initiated controversy due to the author's usage of incorrect grammar and rough language. In 2007, it became fifth on the list for most frequently challenged book indicating the controversy of Huckleberry Finn still exists. In the article, "Mark Twain's Bad Boy," Suzanne Bilyeu implies that Huckleberry Finn should not be banned. She does this by drawing on experts' opinions and uses Twain's personal background.
