If Facebook was a country it would be the third largest country in the world. Currently there are 1.23 billion monthly Facebook users in the world. This is all due to the engineering ingenuity of Mark Zuckerberg, the man who created Facebook. Facebook has currently become the most populous social networking website according to socialbakers.com which reports trends, demographics, and other statistical figures and findings regarding social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter among many others. Overall, through his invention of the world famous social networking site, Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, the young internet mogul, has created arguably the best social networking website, through its ease of access, extensive amount of features and quality performance. Zuckerberg was born in New Plains, New York on May 14, 1984. While he was growing up he had developed interests in computers and writing software. For example, in high school he was able to develop a program called Zucknet which enabled his father to communicate with those working at his dental office from their home. During high school, he was also able to create a computer software program that allowed users to listen to music which was adaptive to his or her own personal preferences. His interests grew through his college years at Harvard University. At Harvard, Zuckerberg created a computer software program called CourseMatch, which enabled users who were looking for courses, to pick college courses
