Describe the marketing objectives you sought to achieve, using marketing terms and concepts.
The Valley Animal Center organizes an event each year to help raise funds for the shelter. The event we participated in is called Wiggle Waggle Walk. As group, we had the task to market the event and come up with a fun interacting activity for the occasion. We had three main objectives that helped us to better organize and focus our ideas. The first objective was to generate a creative and interactive activity for the participants of the Wiggle Waggle Walk to go through. The second objective was to sign up at least five individuals as a result from marketing the event. The last objective was to create promotional flyers to increase awareness and attendance for the walk. To complete the marketing project, we went through a process.
Throughout the process, we met with Jackie, our supervisor, at least once a week to keep her updated with our progress. The first time we met with Jackie, she gave us the theme for the event, which was Movie Mania. As a group, we decided to create a Minion Photo Booth for the Wiggle Waggle Walk that took place at the Woodward Park on October 11. Jackie’s supervisor liked our idea and gave us the approval to continue with our plan. The next objective was one of the biggest ones, which consisted of signing up at least five individuals for the event. Flyers are perhaps the most commonly used form of media to let a community know about upcoming events. Even in this day and age of technology and online globalization, it’s nearly impossible to walk around the block without stumbling upon a flyer advertising guitar lessons, someone look for a lost cat, or a bright neon poster with “YARD SALE” written with poor penmanship. Flyers are popular because they can convey an adequate amount of information in a brief amount of time. The purpose of a flyer is to pique the audiences’ interest as well as encourage participation. With this in mind, how well does the flyer promoting a two-week writing challenge for Advance at UNM work in promoting its event?
Triple E’s main clients will be local area businesses who require access to marketing and event planning services but have no marketing/planning departments of their own. By focusing on businesses that have these specific needs, Triple E Marketing and Events will be able to provide smaller organizations access to comprehensive and combined event planning and marketing strategies, allowing them to create brand recognition and increased profitability for their businesses.
In the US today cattle are part of everyday culture. With more than 93 million cattle in the dairy and beef industry, and tens of thousands in the rodeo business, cattle are definitely a huge part. Lately, there has been many concerns with the bovine friends along with multiple misconceptions. Rodeos may look tough on animals, and todays society is not educated well enough on the beef and dairy industry. People don’t realize that these animals are happy, healthy, and very well cared for.
In the past century there has been a substantial change in the way human beings raise and keep animals meant for food. While in the past there were great numbers of widely spaced small individual farms, now there are relatively few, but extremely large industrialized farms. And as the numbers of animals kept and slaughtered for human consumption increases, these industrialized farms, known as Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations or CAFO's, are having more and more of an impact on the environment and people around them. The concentration of animals causes a major problem with the waste products they produce, as well as the gases, chemicals, and other types of byproducts. And the increased use of antibiotics in the animals is beginning to have a profound effect on the health of not only the environment but the communities that exist around these industrialized farms. CAFO's, and their secondary industries, are also a large consumer of oil, gasoline, and other fuels which can have an indirect, but devastating effect on the environment. Luckily there are some who have come to recognize the problems, and potential future problems, involved in this type of animal farming and have begun to inform the public to the dangers these farms pose. Vet Ranch is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless animals with medical conditions not only get better, but to find loving forever homes. They do most of their work on their Youtube channel - Vet Ranch. The Youtube channel was started in 2014 by Dr. Matt Carriker after posting a video of the progress of a dog that was hit and left by a car. Dr. Matt is a vet in San Antonio, Texas who created the website to make it easier for viewers that wanted to donate to help save animals. Although it started out with just Dr. Matt, Vet Ranch is now made up of four amazing veterinarians that include, Dr. Karri. Dr. Wendy, and Dr. Dave who help save animals lives. Kudler Fine Foods has continued to grow and is now poised to make significant internal changes to increase revenue and customer satisfaction. Kudler Fine Foods is a gourmet grocery store and recent market surveys have shown they have continued to exceed customer 's satisfaction in every area except one: the cost of merchandise. By exploring ways to reduce costs Kudler Fine Foods will experience an increase in customer satisfaction.
Towards the beginning of the project, I was researching the psychology behind advertising. Then, slowly my focus turned to different types of advertising, and then on to children's advertising. But after the research phase of the project was complete, I began becoming slightly bored with the topic I chose, and I wasn't really sure what to produce from it. During a conversation with Mr. Moravek, he mentioned to me that he wanted to plan more charity events for next year, and I had an idea for one. I changed my gifted project into planning a Color Run. Next year, through Student Council, Conant will host a Color Run/walk in order to raise money for a charity or cause. I figured that having a run/walk would be a good way to raise money at our
The campaign will be promoted through bill-boards a recognisable person in the local area will be as a model in the promotion. Business cards will also be used.
Implementing a customer relationship management (CRM) program should fulfill each aspect of expanding Kudler Fine Food’s services, which should increase the company’s revenues and customer base. With the increase in the customer base, implementing a consumer database is necessary.
>> Man’s best friend, or as people simple call them, the dog has been a part of family life thousands of years. Ever since the beginning man and dog have lived side by side. Whether as guard dogs, hunting buddies, or simply a member of the family it’s impossible to have never seen or heard of a dog. Organizations have developed means of determining which dogs are the best of the best. Today the most recognizable and known organization for dogs is the American Kennel club, or AKC.
From the beginning of the live marketing project, Edmond's Historical Museum, to the end of the live presentation, I committed 100% of myself to the team by being actively involved. My first contribution was visiting the Edmond's Historical Museum on September 28th, 2017 where I gathered notes by effectively listening to Katie Kelly. This was for the purpose of being able to analyze the data at a later time. The data research that I was able to gleam from Katie, included that the museum is seeing a decline in their memberships, there was not enough volunteers to actively seek out renewals, and a majority of the Edmond's transplants moved changing the demographics, and that new exhibits would come
Upon arrival, I went to the information vendor located in the middle of the Farmers Market where I was greeted by other volunteers and Melanie Sparrow, who told me my responsibilites for the upcoming hours. My first duty was to hand out various advertisements for the upcoming GreenFest which will be held October 1st, 2016, across the street from the Farmers Market. The GreenFest is held by Georgia Southern’s Center for Sustainability. The goal of this event is to teach people about green living and what it entails. Much like the Farmers Market, there will be live music, vendors, and workshops. Aside from passing out ads, I also helped keep attendance of everyone in the market by taking a count every 30 minutes or so.
The over-arching problem that Breeder’s Own Pet Foods has is which marketing-strategy would best serve as a vehicle for entry into the dog food retail business. Additionally, it has to select the most prominent geographic location (s) for distribution of its product. Another root problem component is how to get the supermarkets to stock and distribute this dog food since it is in the frozen category and may not appeal to traditional dog food buyers because they don’t readily associate dog food with frozen goods.
Canada Goose is a clothing company based in Canada.its philosophy is to design products and promote both style and functionality. Porter 5 forces (integrated in the analysis) Canada Goose may face competition from new competitors that enter the market with low prices or innovate products so canda goose should invest in R&D and reinforce its economy of scale. Also textile suppliers may affect Canada Goose profit if they increase their price,then Canada must base its production on different materials to avoid dependency on suppliers. Added to that Cg can deal with buyers who want low prices by targeting a huge number of customers to sustain its sales and of course needs always to innovate products .However
I was able to successfully create and follow through on the marketing plans for the following four events: Parsing Charms and Romancing Sameness Exhibit, 25 Years of Alleys and Ruins Reception, Geometric Paper Wall Art Workshop, and Picture Frame Corner Wreath Workshop. I did this by creating contests and planned social media posts including videos and live content. I even created and planned a Halloween event with the goal of increasing awareness of the UC Events and gaining followers and engagement on social media platforms. These are of course smaller versions of the marketing plans I will create in the future, but it helped me to think creatively and within a timeframe to complete the plan on time. I also had to make sure it was feasible to accomplish based on the UC’s resources and timeframe.
