Marketing is crucial to the success of a brand and is an encompassing set of processes facilitated for generating, communicating and bringing value to consumers. Moreover, marketing is about managing relationships with consumers in ways that benefit the organizations and its stakeholders. The marketing concept most widely used is the holistic approach. According to Kolter (2012) “This concept is based on the development, design and implantation of marketing programs, processes, and activities that recognize their breadth and interdependencies.” A meticulous marketing plan begins with a market and competitive analysis, search for opportunities, and feedback through various techniques. A mix of the logo, meaning and attitude with the overall story developed should be communicated keeping the brand’s ideals in sync with its targeted consumer values. This foundation will allow a brand to convey steady marketing supporting its meaning reiterating them in the memories of consumers. Marketing is ever evolving and consumers are constantly changing. In order to stay relevant marketers must be innovative when communicating and implement unique ways to connect deeper with consumers. Social media is the latest marketing platform and is rapidly becoming one of the most important.
