With so many companies based in New York City, marketing jobs tend to flock there. A person considering taking up a profession based in the marketing category should consider the traveling that is involved in this career. Workers can be required to travel for meetings, advertising shoots, and making public appearances. I love meeting people, selling them things, and collaborating with them. I love presenting and showing off new products in a positive light. Being a marketing director offers very good pay.
