Chris Crosser is one of the most successful interpreters under the age of thirty. He started his career in photography based on his love for it and wanting to capture the world. He once said that “opportunities don’t happen you create them”. What this quote is saying is to peruse dreams. Businesses do not create themselves if someone wants to start a business they have to be prepared. They can not just start a business without a good strategy; they have to have preparations in place in order for the business to become very successful. For example, the Starbucks Company started with one store in Pike Place Market in Seattle, Washington in 1971. Starbucks now has over 21,000 stores in 65 different countries. To achieve this level of success, one must have a good business plan, excellent marketing materials, and a consistent quality product. The first step to running a successful coffee shop is to create a good business plan. Some steps that go into making a business plan include; figuring out how many products to sell and how much each product is going to be sold for. Market research is important here to determine the customer base and how much they would be willing to pay for the product. In order to manage the level of debt and keep it at a minimum before opening up the business, one must think of ideas that will keep the cost down, such as not buying the most expensive coffee machine on the market or buying a brand new building and having to start from scratch.
