Travel today is a travel agency company that has been serving customers for 25 years. The company is located in Tucson, AZ. It is family operated and own and it has been in my family for the past 25 years. Our company marketing team is working hard to find ways to open our market to different customers in the United States, at this moment the company only offers vacation packages in Arizona. The marketing team came with a segmentation plan, the plan will be divided in two steps. First step will be Targeting Preferred Segments, because our company is family friendly we will use more resources and money to attract families. Our plan is to find partners like AAA, YMCA and Boys and Girls clubs to advertise our vacation packages. Our marketing team will work with local communities to sponsor baseball teams, football teams and soccer teams, they will have our company logo in their uniforms. Second step is Positioning Strategy, our company will develop a website to offer our vacation packages online. This will help us to target different customers in the United States, customers will be able to review our vacation packages and create a reservation at anytime and anywhere. For our company is important to understand the behavior of our customers, understand values and opinions, understand our customer’s demographic status and geographic location.
