Marriage... Earth's most basic, sacred tradition that showcases the unification of two conjoined individuals who express their undying bliss for each other on a special day that will last them a joyful lifetime. Marriage is the greatest template that gives us a better understanding of God's love for his precious creations. As a young woman with an old soul, I have alwaysbelieved that a marriage was a union between a man and woman. Within this union, vows are given amongst family and friends, rings are exchanged, chemistry is created, laughs are shared, adventures are wild, and children are reproduced. The concept and core values that surround a marriage has changed because times have changed. Clearly, times have changed in many areas ranging anywhere from women having no rights to women being CEO's of multi-million dollarcompanies; similarly, the concept of marriage has shifted in a negative direction since it now enforces ideas such as same sex marriage, interracial marriage, and interfaith marriages.The Britannica dictionary tells us that the definition on the word marriage is a legally and socially sanctioned union between a man and a woman that is regulated by laws, rules, customs, beliefs, and attitudes that prescribe the rights and duties of the partners and accords status to their offspring.
