Dr. Martin Luther King Jr is a great man. He has helped out the black community to get their rights and become equal to the white people. He was tired of his people having to drink out the colored fountain that has dirtier water. He won the nobel peace prize for being able to to help so many people out. He has gotten rid of most of the racism but has not gotten rid of all it. Martin Luther king is the greatest in giving people their peace. First there’s non-violent resistance that have peaceful results and it’s permanent. Non-violence, unfortunately takes a long time to get where people would want to be to get something done. The bus boycott is an example for being non-violent, the black people would stop taking the bus and boycott it because they wanted to sit wherever they wanted to not only in the back. It took over a year to get anything done but they were determined to get it done. Physical violence is corroding hatred. You use physical violence to get results for a temporary change, creates other problems, violence begets violence, and it’s immoral. In conclusion, Martin Luther King is such a great man.
