On 08/04/16 at 8:42pm, I was dispatched to 2087 S. Hamilton Rd, on a injury dangerous or vicious dog/injured dog, serious injury, involving a Columbus Police Officer (CPD) being bit by a dog and shooting dog. I arrived at the location. I was advised my CPD personnel that the CPD Officer that was bite was transported to the hospital and that the dog was still breathing. I was escorted to the area where the dog was. The dog was on the ground, next to the dog was dog owner Jackie Fate. I was unable to see any visible injuries to the dog, the dog had shallow breathing. I asked Ms. Fate to wrap the leash around the dog’s mouth to prevent the dog from biting her or me while I placed the dog on the stretcher. Ms. Fate complied, I slowly guided the dog on the
When learning the meaning of life through an artist one must take into consideration what inspired the artist to write, what barriers were in place, what was going on during the time he put out the music, and how did the artist overcome or succumb to those issues. This paper will inform you of the criticism and memories Marvin Gaye faced while creating his album What’s going on. The black community as able to have hope and something that allowed the black community as a whole. He was able to reach out with love and respect type of approach instead of using his platform to cause more conflict to the war. We must take a moment and look at what he has to offer to our life being that he was a significant figure
Mike Clark started riding horses when he was a young boy. His father was working the fields with the tremendously powerful draft horses Mike would ride on their backs. Ever since then he had wanted his own horse for riding. It was an ordinary day in 3rd grade for Mike Clark. He had been in Mrs.Kruschels class learning away. The school day was completely normal everything just as it usually was learning all the subjects, but of course he was thinking about horses and how he would love his own. The end of the school day came fast. Next thing he knows he’s on the bus on his way home ready to make that exhausting one mile walk home, but to his surprise his mom was waiting for him when he got off the bus. He hopped in the old Chevy pickup, as he and his mom were headed home to their beautiful farm; the only thing on his mind was to get something to fill his stomach as soon as they got out of the old pickup he started to run for the house.
Moments in days like today I had come to cherish with snow piled high to the window, in soft swirling drifts to the roof of my oaken weathered shed. Franklin stove glowing orange hot coals. Rudy, the best Yellow Lab in the world, dream twitching on his dog pillow. I knew when I started the chop saw the motor would cause his eyelids to feign alertness. Rudy was hanging in there despite his twelve years, could still jump into the back of the truck, more than I could say for myself.
By any gatherable recollection, the only time my sorry-self got near the verge of proposing - to consequently elude the usual befall of circumstances, yet didn’t - was at her 19th birthday, 4 years ago. That night she felt vulnerable and melancholic at the offset of a failed relationship; thus lying in a snuggle under a lucent sky, teeming with stars staring at us in amazement, we talked for hours - as in our childhood days! In retrospect, Gayle (her name) and I, were like brother and sister; while we both carried on our respective affairs and liaisons, we kept our kinship alive - and always shared our secrets at the end. Accordingly, - as a venue for self vindication - I would state for the record the fact that the night in question I was
It was another typical autumn morning in Jackson, Florida, a beautiful, busy suburb of Miami. But as much as Jackson was beautiful, it was also a very dangerous town. There was a lot of organized crime in Jackson, and honest work was hard to find. The leaves were covering the streets, sidewalk, and the idle cars. The wind was a crisp cool breeze that blew across the city of Jackson. This was the city that Marvin Anderson lived in for the first twenty years of his life.
As this issue was printing, a couple of editors decided to express their very strong opinions concerning O'Brien and his actions.
The burden of motherhood can prove to be far too tough for some women in today’s society. One habitually is informed about a woman who either abandoned her child for adoption to a firehouse or even worse, which could be better, left unmentioned. Some mothers can fill the role of motherhood and beyond. The female who filled this niche in my lifetime was Zulma Enid Saldaña. Not only did she go above and beyond with her role as my mother, but also surpassed expectations as a father in my life as well.
It was a hot July day in the city with the sun shining down on the busy streets and sidewalks of New Albany, Indiana. A few miles away from the city lived a kid whose name was Jack. Jack and his family didn't have a lot of money back then. One day Jack's mom woke him from bed and said, “Jack, I want you to go into the city and sell the families' moped.” Jack got up. He took helmet and keys and hopped on the moped and drove off to the city. On the way to New Albany Jack decide to stop at a gas station so he could blow his nose. So he parked his moped and went inside the gas station. He went into the bathroom and blew his nose. On his way out of the gas station a homeless man walked up to Jack and said, “Hey son, I'll give you these magic beans for that moped.” Jack looked at him and said,
[Being Unprepared] Because you have been sick, out of town, busy at work, or working on other homework, you didn 't have as much time to study for an important test as you needed. Everyone going to school has been in this situation. Think of a specific test that you took that you felt unprepared for and narrate the events. Tell your readers about the preparation that you were able to do, the reasons that you didn 't get to prepare as well as you wanted, taking the test, and any significant events that happened after you took the test. Your paper should help readers understand what it felt like to be unprepared.
Murder is the unlawful killing of another human being with malice afterthought, and generally this state of mind distinguishes murder from other forms of unlawful homicide (such as manslaughter). As the loss of a human being inflicts enormous grief upon the individuals close to the victim, as well as the fact that the commission of a murder is highly detrimental to the good order within society, most societies both present and in antiquity have considered it a most serious crime worthy of the harshest of punishment. In most countries, a person
“Where are you from?” Lincoln finally said waving his arms around. Milyn had finished her meal in rapid fashion but looked oddly at him.
The saying ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ goes a very long way; I learnt my lesson the hard way. I happened to be a very judgmental teenager and I lost many friends that way. Even before speaking with or having any contact with an individual, I judged them based on what I saw on the outside. My friends, the ones who stuck with me, always told me that one of those days, I would be taught a valuable lesson; and boy they were correct.
There’s something about helping someone that brings immense joy to yourself and others. My dream is to carry on this feeling of joy into my life’s work by being of assistance to others.
Ever heard of the expression “love hurts”, it really does. What is love? To me Love is something you can’t live without it or with it. Love is something that gets you hyped up when you look at special someone, it’s something that makes butterflies fly in your stomach when you talk to talk to that special someone, it’s the last thing you think about before going to bed. Have I have been love? Of course I have.
