This is how the legend Master Chief went MIA. It all started about a decade ago when I had to go to a planet called Exodus. It was supposed to be a simple recon mission and nothing more. I was there just to scout out the planet and see if there was any inhabitants on the planet, but it all went south when I got boots on the ground. Everything there was really bright because this system had 2 suns. The first step I took on the ground, a squad of grunts and elites ambushed me. starting with the grunts first, I let the grunts charge me and when they came close enough, and I lunged at them. I killed the first one quickly by grabbing him and stabbing him right in the neck, severing his head. After stabbing him I took the grunts grenade and threw it at the elites that were coming to slow them down. I hurried and grabbed my magnum and shot the …show more content…
“Okay call your men back to pack up comms, so we can get a move on. I will scout a place to set up shop” I said “Aye aye” said John. I started on my way to find a better location to set up base. I started heading south to the cliffs. I found a cave big enough to set up a base. It was perfect because it was hidden behind large trees and foliage. The only reason I found it was because a tree branch fell and almost hit me. I started heading back but I noticed a big alien creature started stalking me. I tried a heat scan and there it was. It was hiding behind all the trees, about 12 ft tall. “Hey show yourself or I will have to use deadly force” I said, I tried to warn him just in case he was a covenant soldier. The beast jumped out and charged at me. That's when I realized it was a Covenant Mgalekgolo. I rushed to cover as the great beast swung his big ass shield at me. “Oh shit!” The beast charged his assault cannon, but before he could get it fully charged I snuck around behind him. I grabbed a grenade, pulling the pin I shoved it into the creature's back. I got to cover while the creature was running
On 10 August 2001 at about 3.00pm, the sun was shining and there were only a few clouds on the sky. I decided to go out for a walk, so I took my car and drove to a big forest in Schouweiler. There are no streets near the forest, so I walked about 1 km to reach it. After an hour I was deep inside the forest so I decided to go home. But suddenly I heard a little noise. I turned around, but I didn't see anything. A few seconds later I heard a sound of breaking branches, I looked around and I saw a dark figure standing a few meters behind me. It was about 2m (6 foot 6 inches) tall, dark haired and very big. I tried to film it, but it disappeared quickly, I couldn't follow anymore. After an hour I was at home again and I still couldn't believe what I saw
Where do you see yourself in two weeks, six months, or three years? For me, two years removed from high school I was living in Korea, where I found myself walking away from a top-3 finish at the All-Army Golf Team qualifier, wondering – what did I do to get me to this point? It is crazy to believe that not only would I be finishing in the top-3 within my region in a sport I love, in addition to being a US Soldier.
The stick grazed the beast eye, blinding it in one eye. I took this to my advantage; kicking it in the chest as it whimpered to the ground by roared a loud and wind-filled growl into the air, declaring war. I bent down to the ground, before I lunged at the beast, swinging my legs around so I was on top with my broken ankle out of
I drew my sword and charged the monster. It stabbed at me with its long tail which I narrowly avoided.
“Battle Royal” is a short story written by Ralph Ellison. It’s about the narrator who is a young black man struggling to find his place in life. He isn’t sure about himself and can’t seem to figure out answers to some internal questions. He looks for answers in others and without disputing, he takes on and exhibits behaviors based on how others perceive him. Although being an educated young man who attends high school, he is ashamed of his grandparents past because they were slaves. When his grandfather dies, he is left with an additional battle due to his grandfather’s last dying words of treachery to his people. When he graduates high school, he gives a speech so magnificent that he is invited to speak for important people in his community which are all white. He is excited about his speech but once at the location, he sees that fellow classmates who aren’t fond of him are also in attendance and knows that receiving the chance to give his speech will be a difficult task. The young black males invited will be participating in a battle which is entertainment for the important white males in his town. The winner of that battle will receive money but also speak to the socialites of the town. The battle consists of the young black men, blindly, fighting each other for the entertainment of the socialites until only two men are left standing. The narrator eventually can give his speech but not without making an error and letting out the words “social-equality” which caught the
When we found everything we needed, we grabbed a computer and looked up the last place the monster was spotted and tried to plan out his next location. We put on mud boots and headed for the creek behind the house. We were gone all morning,we never found anything just a couple of cool rocks and some old tin cans. We began our search again the next day. We were scavenging the woods with our cameras and bug spray when we came upon a small cave in the side of the creek wall. We were just about to enter when we heard a growl,we all jolted
stalled to give myself a chance to find something sharp. My nails dug into its tainted skin, grabbed a hold of its spine, and pulled. I stifled a grunt to avoid drawing any attention. Its skin burned my flesh and I yanked my hand out.
“No misunderstanding here, lass,” he said, his voice thickly accented, his thin lips curling into a cruel sneer. “This place has been deserted for a long time and we’ve used it as a resting point. But now we find you two here, using our place.”
Hello I’m David. Right now I’m at my house getting ready for my trip for the underground I’m going to climb up Mount Ebott. The reason I’m climbing Mount Ebott is because on the news at fires, even the newspapers had a section about it, that there are rumors about monsters living underground, if there a such thing called the underground, and rumors about monster sightings. I got everything packed in the car and as I was packing, something came to me. It didn’t occur to me that the monster sightings, and the monsters that are described, look and sound oddly familiar. I got everything in the car, closed the trunk, got in, and started to drive. It was about 6 miles to Mount Ebott so it took about an hour. I got out of my car, and got my stuff
“All right, now you two need to listen to me carefully and do exactly what I say. Starting right now, you need to begin prepping the bunker as quickly and quietly as possible. Stow as many provisions as you can fit in there. Think in terms of what we will need to survive for years, not weeks. That bunker needs to be fully prepped and ready for residents immediately.”
Your head was aching from working today. Your boss kept, well, bossing around. “Y/N do this, Y/N do that, blah blah blah.”, you grumbled. You put your key in the lock and opened the door. You could hear Stiles and your son arguing about, Star Wars, again? Once you walked into the living room, you let your bag fall on the ground of astonishment, the room was a complete mess. “What happened here?!” You looked at them and your son stood up, running to you. “Daddy and I made a hut out of blankets and other stuff!” You sighed and crouched down to your 5-year-old son. “Sweetheart, that’s really nice, but you and daddy have to clean up everything. Otherwise we have to cancel Star Wars night.” He nodded and began picking up his toys. You walked over to Stiles, who has been looking at his feet the whole time. “You, upstairs.”, you commanded him and he did what you said.
Somehow, I kept him from getting a shot at my ribs. I countered. The ogre sidestepped it effortlessly, but there was a change in his face. His eyes narrowed, and he started to press me with more force. The sword grew heavy in my hand. My arm trembled. I knew it was only a matter of moments before he took me down, so I figured, What the heck?
It was a slow, long, boring day for Darth Vader in the beautiful lands, and lush forests of Endor. There were almost no rebels there any more. After the second Death Star was destroyed they all fled Endor. Thus leaving lord Vader to grieve the loss of his master, and his home that they blew up.
“I do know you,” the voice, female and familiar, responded. He could never forget such a rich accent, straight from the planet Shili. “I haven’t forgotten your face.” Two, purple blades sprang to life in the gloom to reveal Jedi Master Kaeto Vaa. The Togruta who’d tempted Lord Scourge from his post, opening the way for Darth Kozen to advance as the Emperor’s Wrath. The alien who killed the Sith Emperor.
