What do I consider my core personal values? A value can be defined as trait or attribute inherently desired. In essence, they are intangible qualities that are deemed worthy of possessing. Yet, I have never given much thought to identifying what my desirable qualities were as a person. I believe through my life I have I claimed or believed I had values which guided me, but I made these claims without consciously identifying these values. This seems rather problematic. Essentially what I am considering is this, that the set of positive standards that are to be used to guide or determine how I distinguish from right or wrong, the principles that help regulate my
I have learned a lot after identifying my top 7 core values now I will compare them on a personal level, local level, and a global level. The first core value I identified was economic security, and I can compare this on all three levels. On a personal level, I contribute on a daily basis by working at The Home Depot. By working at The Home Depot, I contribute to my economic security by making a salary which helps pay for school. On a local level part of the money I make goes to taxes which help local citizens afford food and healthcare. Globally I contribute by helping people install greener and more environmentally friendly options. The second core value that I discovered that was important to me is health. On a personal level, I contribute
My thoughts are to have core values that will replace value statements. I believe five core values will be good, easy, and simple. One core value will be “We value people” this value should be respected by employees of the business. All people need to be value in order for the business to be held in high standards. The next core value will be
Approximately five years ago I decided to come to Canada to further my education, this decision will probably be one of the best decisions I have ever made, my knowledge, self-confidence, thinking, behavior and overall look on life improved exponentially. I have even been able to discover more interesting things about myself and want

My core values consist of the following: accomplishment, benevolent, determined, gallant, helpful, merciful, opportunity, optimistic, perseverance and vigorous.
My personal ethical mission statement is to find happiness, contentment, and worth in living, I will seek out and experience all of the pleasures and joys that life has to offer me. My core moral values are not limitations restraining me on this pleasure-seeking search for fun. Rather, they provide a framework for identifying, pursuing, and achieving those pleasures that last the longest and are the most satisfying.
Values are the fundamental beliefs of a person, and they help guide us in making decisions and how we live our lives. Values are a part of our everyday life and in the workplace. In the workplace, these are the guiding principles that help to define how the corporation would behave. In this essay, the author will identify personal core values and discuss how we acquire and change values throughout life. Also will discuss what values do for us and the importance of values in the workplace.
The experiences that we have acquired thought out our lives will determine what we believe to be, and to distinguish right from wrong. Based on these beliefs we establish unique core values, and we use these values to influence how others perceive us. We are all driven by our core values; they give purpose to our lives and a reason to outperform ourselves and motivate others to do the same.
A personal mission statement is a philosophy or creed that one plans to follow in daily life. It is usually designed with positivity, purpose, and with personal goals for every aspect of life such as career, finances, etc. It also focuses on personality traits that one would like to possess and the accomplishments that one wants to achieve, both short-term and long term. It also houses the individuality of the person writing it. Every person writing a personal mission statement is will produce a different statement. This is primarily because people value different things, characteristics and have different goals. The purpose of this paper is to explore my mission statement (Covey, 2013, pp.113).
Although I have an entrepreneurial mindset, I also have very deep core values in me which I got it from my parents. It is truly said “Your perspective of life comes from the cage you were held captive in”. My parents have always taught me to give importance to the family and then concentrate on the career plans. A successful business has no meaning and values if it is hindering your personal life and personal space which you should devote to your family. According to me, the morals and ethics should have higher values in every entrepreneur’s life. So, while establishing the goals one should also take the core values into consideration as these things gauges the success of a well- established entrepreneur.
Core values are a person or an organization's fundamental beliefs, these principles prescribe behavior along with helping people understand the difference between right and wrong, “values are what motivate you in life. They are what guide you along the path of fulfilment, so essentially your values are the foundation of who you are” (C.Worsley). These values are important to have because they are what shape you, they make every person unique. Having a spirit of adventure, perseverance, and having patience are only some of my core values. Knowing what you cherish is very important and is something many people should revise.
The Power of Positivity: I one thing I pride myself on is being one of the most positive people out there. I have been through a lot over my life time and therefore there are only a limited amount of things that bring me down. I show my positivity by always smiling and always laughing. Laughing is something that I cannot control all the time and I tend to laugh at random works such as pudding for no reason. I attribute this to the fact that I am so positive and enjoy all aspects of life.
In my business and management course we have learned about how to start business and manage a business in its very basic. One of the main themes that I found interest in this course was the keyword shareholder. The first thing that is important to know when starting a business it its role, the main functions and in what sector your business is going to be in. Also the main reason why businesses are started is the mnemonic GET CASH principle. There are several steps one has to go through when starting a business and the first step us to write a business plan. This means that once someone has feasible a business idea, you must officially formulate your idea into a business plan. The second step is to obtain start-up capital and the third
In the field of business there are several fields of emphasis one can choose to focus their major on. I chose to major in business management for several very distinct reasons that will appear in this paper. The first reason I choose to focus on a management major was for the opportunity to work with other people. Management requires collaboration as opposed to simply being an individual effort. The second reason I am interested in the field of business management is that I am competitive. Because of this I prefer to step up in a leadership position. The most significant reason for choosing my major is that I believe in the saying, “the greater the risk, the greater the rewards.” I know that as a manager I have to risk the most as the man in charge. I also recognize that I gain the most out of my successes for putting the most on the line. These reasons that I will discuss in greater detail are the core of why I chose to major in business management.
