I am petitioning to have my AP credit reinstated, with the subsequent removal of my Math 081 grade removed or reverted to a “W”. Before I came to Lehigh I was required to send in my AP credit in order to check if I met any of the requirements to move ahead in any of the classes and since I had passed the AP Calc exam with a 4 I had intended to move forward. Upon my first day of classes I was notified that I had to take MATH 021 for my major which at the time was CSE but I had intended to switch to CBE. When I was sent to the Advising Business office in order to formulate a schedule for my intended track in CBE an advisor placed me in MATH 081 in order to fulfill the requirement. I inquired why I was required to take a math class recalling

2. Describe the pattern of growth in the “Number of people told” column for both Scenario A and Scenario B.
English class has never been my strong suite. I always had to work twice as hard in English then I did in any other class. Writing paper always had me stressed and overwhelmed, I felt discouraged in my work. l never seemed to be able to get to the level I wanted to. I would try my hardest and paid attention in class, but when it came to writing the paper none of that seemed to help. I think that my experience in English Composition 1 has helped gain and grow in some areas, but I don’t think that it highlights a well-written college essay. Some elements that I worked to improving was introduction paragraphs, tone, style, and thesis statements.
The mean for the column “mean” is 3.56. It is very close to the parameter of interest but is not equal to it. You can calculate a confidence interval for the mean of the mean column, but a specific confidence interval would need to be provided. In that case, the confidence interval would be centered on 3.56, not 3.5.
As a new immigrant, I took the accuplacer test and went straight to 111 English level. So, English 111 course became my first college English class. It seems like a great achievement for a French speaker. Nonetheless, this performance linked to significant challenges. Even though I am a fighter and an optimist, I was frightened about my academic achievement for this semester. The problems became bigger when I took my first practice test on sentence structure (fragments and run-ons) and got a D. I was frightened and felt that I will have to drop the class. However, I decided not to give up. I started working hard and had a V+ on the next test. This positive grade energized me until now. During this semester, I have much homework and practices which allow me to identify some strengths, weaknesses, and gave me lots of skills for my English 112 class and the future.
This unit does not introduce much new material. Instead, we expect you to integrate technical and theoretical knowledge acquired from study across your degree. We refer to two frameworks that may support you in carrying out this integration:
The average number of breakdowns from the simulation trials was 1.93 with a standard deviation of 0.20. No. of breakdowns per week
Reflecting on this course over this semester, there have been many lessons learned that will be valuable, as we enter the business world. Our first lesson was to learn to work together, as a team, to prepare a short memo, long memo, letter, and email for use in the business world. This is a lesson that will experience many times as we do our daily work. Punctuation and grammar are so important to present to the client and other organizations that we are professionals. It could mean the loss of a sale or acquiring new business. It’s like dressing for work; looking professional or unprofessional.
By taking English 102, it has given me skills to help become a college level writer. It is important to become a college level writer so that it better prepares me for future college courses. College level writing is going to be extremely important for me especially, as I go into law school, and hoping to be a future lawyer. During this course, I have learned how to better incorporate research and evidence into my essays, whether that be to help prove a point or to just provide general background knowledge on an issue. English 102 has helped prepare me as well on helping me become a better writer, by helping me understand what a good source is to use and how to apply these aspects of research without showing bias, but simply stating the facts. This essay is a reflective essay on my learning development from a young age through to my current position as a University Student. While watching National Hockey League (NHL) games, I often heard the play-by-play announcer mention at the start of the third and final period how it would be tough for a team to come back from a one goal deficit. This led me to wonder just how difficult it was mathematically, and how much previous periods affected the final one. In this project, I will investigate whether the scores at the end of the first period affect the final score of NHL games.
There is a short list of things that keep me up at night. Beyond being anxious or too excited for something that's happening tomorrow, math is the most common offender. Ironic because math is infamous for making students sleep. When I get my head wrapped around a problem, I cannot seem to sleep until I have come to some satisfactory conclusion or found a way to get my mind off of it. Although, holding my sleep hostage really is a great way to make me solve the problem! I don't just think about it when I sleep, it also invades my thoughts when I'm trying to focus on an audiobook in the car or as I am walking and taking in the scenery of early morning Harrisburg on my way to school. I love thinking about math and the reward of finding a problem's solution is ever so satisfying. I know that whatever I focus on in my future has to involve these kinds of problems, the problems that keep me up at night and entertain my thoughts throughout the day.
We shall be using The Pythagorean Identity Theorem 10.1 of the text, that states that cos^2 (x)+sin^2 (x)=1
