I am only working part time. My new supervisor has reduced my office hours to 15 hours a week. With additional appointments, to tutor students, I am averaging approximately 20 hours a week. She has tried to discharge me; however my previous supervisor would not allow her to do so. Therefore, she has reduced my office hours to circumvent this.
I asked the assistant director of the department to give me a position as a counselor or advisor.
This position currently has a salary of $55,000 a year.
He declined to do so. He said I am too blunt. The truth is he manages this program poorly. The program mostly consists of minority students and is use as a political front to show that minority students are being given

This is done to keep the retention rate higher than it would be. Some of these students should leave the program, and return to school when they were ready to attend college.
Most of the students do poorly in their classes. Approximately, only four percent of the students in the program currently have a grade point average of 3.0 or better. Many of the students cannot, even calculate their own grade point averages.
When I implemented the organization's mathematics placement examinations, he turned down my request for student's SAT scores and high school records. I wrote three examinations to test for student's preparedness for different levels of mathematics classes. His reason was that it would be too much effort for the counselors to get this information. I wanted the students' records to give each student the appropriate test.
He has the education and background to manage this organization in an effective and ethical fashion. He has an undergraduate degree is in physics and a Ph.D. in psychology.
My work with this organization on a professional basis is completed.
I will continue to tutor students until I find a new

Mechanical engineering positions are mostly in manufacturing sectors. Out-sourcing to India and China has drastically reduced manufacturing in this country, and therefore the number of mechanical engineering positions available has decreased dramatically.
Many of the current tutors are Indians. Actually, a friend of mine, who is Indian, is trying to help me get a position with Cummins Engine Company. He has only been with that corporation for a short amount of time, and therefore it is unlikely he will be able to help me anytime soon.
Another problem is the perception about engineering. Engineering in general is the application of scientific and mathematical principles to practical ends such as the design, manufacture, and operation of efficient and economical structures, machines, processes, and systems. Engineers are applied scientists; they are not technicians.
I currently have two resumes, one for Mechanical Engineering positions, and another one for Systems Administrator
5. The letter informed him that he may have violated the FHSU’s Student Code of Conduct, specifically its provisions related to compliance with general laws and drug policy.
When I received notice by telephone on Thursday, September 1st that I was dismissed from the program, I felt devastated, defeated and disappointed, because I worked so hard to stay in the program, and I had already attended the first class scheduled for August 27th.
Many colleges and universities throughout the United States and several other countries face a common problem. Student retention is a growing problem across the nation for all ethnic groups and all ages. Each individual who chooses to drop out of school has their own personal reasons as to why they do. However, many drops out can be completely avoided. When students drop out they are not clearly thinking about how it’s going to affect their future, the future of their children and even grandchildren. Although there are several reasons as to why students drop out of school, we will be exploring a few as it relates to why student retention is a growing problem.
However, the principal did not listen to her staff or the partners. Against our wishes, she added advisory classes to the spring semester. The
I feel often feel bullied; by Mr. Rick and that he feels that a woman shouldn’t have a right to voice her opinions and concerns. Because, Mr. Rick constantly reminds me that he has more than 20 years of experience and that he’s the only person that is right and feels that it’s his way, and not what’s in the best interest of the facility, students, and staff members, because technically I have been doing this job description since year 2000, and have earned 2 degrees and is currently working towards my 3rd degree. Therefore, I understand why this facility turnaround rate is incredibly high because of his egocentric leadership styles, and manipulative behaviors, this is why highly qualified and educated people, cannot achieve under these conditions. Therefore, I’ve witness Mr. Rick dancing around questions and not being completely honest about critical issues and reports, and have others blindsided when difficult issues transpire. However, Mr. Rick demanded me to allow Marlon Marshall, to go on a weekend home pass because you had already given the proper authorization for the student to go out on pass, but I never received your signed approval and he told me that if he told me to do something that I needed to do so, even if it was not following policy and procedures. I then typed a letter stating his instructions in his exact words, so that he and I could acknowledge his orders
On 6/12/15 I received a letter from Dr. McClain, via email, outlining his interpretation of how the university handled his situation, Attachment 2. A copy of the email was also included.
Many opponents believe that standardized testing helps educators determine what classes students should be placed in for school. Instead, academic placements should be based on the recommendations of the teachers because tests are often not a proper reflection of learning. Teachers have the opportunity to work with and get to know a student for at least a school year, so it makes sense that they would know best what a student is capable of and their abilities. How can schools base a placement off of a test when instead they can use the opinion of the teacher who has gotten to truly know their student’s potential? When asked if she thinks that a teacher’s opinion should be valued more than a standardized test, Mrs. Ann Wing, an 8th grade social
The only question I was ask when I brought up my concerns was did I think Mr. Alexander display malicious action towards my daughter and my statement was yes. I proceed on how a Administrative is supposed to handle this type of situation; consequently it was stated that the Administrative is not trained on these type of situations.
In the initial grade appeal, I attempt to speak to Dr. Williams, the 103 General Psychology Professor in regards to my grade of an “F,” but he refused to see me or to let me look at my final exam grade. I received an email from Dr. Williams and he stated “I have no intention of changing your grade.” I had completed assignments that I never received a grade for in which I should have received credit, but I did not. I did not get satisfaction from Dr. Williams so I contacted Dr. Eborall.
I received confirmation from Mikel McGee that my field placement application has been accepted by your agency. I am very interested in interning with the DOC Parole/Probation next semester. I would like to move forward with this process by setting up an interview. Please let me know what you have available and I will do the
With all due respect, because I've been waiting for this response for what I consider an inappropriate amount of time, I will be following up on this second email request by tomorrow, but if I do not receive your response by that time I will consider filing a formal grievance for unfair grading appeal type 1 and at a minimum CC. Bic Dovan and anyone else I can think of into this email request to help advocate and/or provide oversight for me receiving
engineering is a technical solution of a any problem, we decide to look at common man‘s
Engineering is an exciting field that I believe will be enjoyable, challenging, and above all, intuiting to undertake at university. I believe pursuing engineering means exceeding your expectations and making a
All engineers are problems solvers. The differences among engineers in varying disciplines are dependent on the types of problems that they solve. In general there are four major disciplines within the engineering field: chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical. Many other engineering disciplines are derived as an extension of or specialization within one of these major disciplines. For example, environmental engineering is a subcategory of civil engineering. Other engineering disciplines have resulted from the combination of aspects of two or more of the major disciplines. Mechatronics is a relatively new branch of engineering that incorporates both mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
As mentioned above, it is very important for engineers to understand their own responsibilities. In 1960, the Conference of Engineering Societies of Western Europe and the United States of America defined "professional engineer" as follows:1 “A professional engineer is competent by virtue of his/her fundamental education and training to apply the scientific method and outlook to the analysis
