Maya’s Problem When I was sitting at lunch, I was listening to all my friends keep talking about the “tragedy” that happened at the last competitive cheer competition. It wasn’t bad so don’t get yourself worried about nothing. I did get a minor injury I wish they would stop talking about it. I didn’t get it, although I have broken my leg but it wasn’t that big a deal and of course they acted like it was. This was the first time I have ever broken a bone and it was kind of scary but it was really bothering me that they kept on carrying on about it, I mean was it really that big of a deal? “What was it like, everyone crowded around you?” Grace asked really weirdly like she was some kind of reporter. “Can you tell us what it is like to be …show more content…
“Why didn’t you tell us how you felt?” Grace exclaimed, “We are best friends we are supposed to tell each other everything!” “I don’t know… I guess I just thought you would be mad at me for not telling you,” I couldn’t believe it, I was fessing up I really couldn’t believe it! “and I also thought you could be really mad at me.” “Well I am mad at you!” Grace shouted, “You never tell me anything anymore, we are supposed to be best friends and you aren’t acting like one.” Marley nodded her head in agreement. I remembered flying through the air it felt like slow motion, it felt like I was flying for forever. I just couldn’t imagine myself hitting the ground, I don’t remember hitting the ground. I was just about to hit the ground then Grace interrupted me. “Maya if you don’t want to sit with us you don’t have to it is okay,” Grace said kind of mockingly so I just sat up and grabbed my crutches and walked away. I was going really fast and I wasn’t paying attention then Crash, I saw the new girl lying on the ground "Oh my gosh! I am SO sorry!” I screeched as I stuck out my hand to help her up, she had a very puzzled look on her face. “Oh, it is okay I wasn’t paying attention to where I was going” She said as she ignored my hand. “What’s your name? Mine is McKenna.” “Neither was I,” I joked while we were both chuckling a little. “My name is Maya and I really like your
“Tough shit, we’re her parents and these are our best friends. Tell us what is going on!” Bryan yelled.
“The more you deny it, the more I think that something is going on~” Cam sing sung, teasing him. It was so very very crude, but his sudden loss in composure was entertaining.
“Well you had this look of depression the whole time we were walking. Just a moment ago you let out a sigh. Is there anything you need to tell us? You know that me, Will, and Anna all care about you.”
“YOU ALWAYS DO THIS! I HATE YOU!” she interrupted me. She stomped into her room. She’s lucky there was nothing within my arm’s reach or I would’ve--
“Then how do you explain all the things that still happen to them now?” Savannah then asked me now sounding implacable.
I kept my composure and made my exit. “Mimi this has been amazing, but I really need to get going.”
I heard myself scream. Crash. Glass from the back window flies forward in slow motion, it looked like snow. Jolted forward, I hit my head and
"You're my best friend, man. You're here for me when I have panic attacks, why wouldn't I be here for you when you're upset?" He muttered, shifting closer to Ian.
“We can’t go out tonight. I already told you that.” Cali told her best friend Caleb now very annoyed.
“So y-you,” my voice shook with anger, “y-you killed my best friend then dragged my name through the mud.”
“You could have told me. I am an understanding person. It is all in the past anyway. I am glad you finally told me. I want you to know that you can always be honest with me, I do not want any secrets in our
"Don't say that," Alison said. "I'm sure your parents love you, you're theirs! And if they don't, then your friends are your family. I can tell that Spencer, Aria, Toby, and Hanna all love you. That's all you need sometimes."
“Oh just a few friends of mine” he replied with a hint of a smirk on his face.
“What’s wrong?”, Emma asked. She shot me a look that said what were you thinking Sarah? I mouthed the word sorry and Carly started speaking.
Smiling flirtatiously, she said, “I know who you are. I had been friends with your sister Mary for many years. We never got the chance to meet officially, but I had seen you and talked to you over the phone on several occasions, if I remember correctly. If you do not know this already, I am Isabel’s closest and dearest friend. It is so nice to meet you finally. I am so sorry for what I said earlier. I had no idea Isabel was seen someone. Isabel and I had not seen each other for almost a month.”
