McDonald’s, one of the largest and most successful fast food eateries in the world, has been victimised in preparing and selling high calorie foods and beverages. These openly shared opinions have led to McDonald’s upgrading its menu to include healthier alternatives. Although McDonald’s has had its fair share of criticism on its high-calorie menu, their leadership and diversification of their employee roster has been highly recognised. Company environments like the Women’s Leadership Network helps shed light on women who contribute greatly to McDonald’s and helps them build a career platform in senior management positions. Other company environments that contribute to the growth of an employee/employer is the Fair and Equal strategy. It helps to drive away any negative employee relationships and establishes respect and dignity within a workplace. The purpose of this report is to expose Current issues being faced by McDonalds regarding changing consumer preferences as well as the Strategies the corporation uses in managing workforce diversity. A thorough analysis of both cases leads to findings of immense scrutiny and judgement on obesity and incredible management of diversification in McDonald’s regarding the women’s leadership network and the fair and equal strategy.
