Introduction
McDonalds is one of the largest fast-food restaurants in the world, which serves burgers, soft drinks, and other type of foods and drinks as well. McDonalds was founded in 1940 by Maurice and Richard McDonald (McDonalds, 2016). The firm?s headquarters locates in Oak Brook, Illinois. McDonalds is currently serving over 100 countries globally, and it expands gradually in recent years. The firm?s business model focuses intensively on the franchising restaurants. Thus, the majority of the organization?s revenue depends heavily on its franchise divisions, which operate by its franchisees.

In March 1st, 2015, the company had hired the new CEO, Steve Easterbrook to revive its revenue, which has been declined in recent years. The firm?s major rivals include Burger king, Chick Fil A, Hardy, and Taco Bell. However, in the last decade, the fast-food industry has been noticed of business stagnation due to consumers change their eating habits to heathier foods. By examining McDonald’s 2012 commercial “Still in Awe” Angus Burger, we can see subliminal messaging through the sexual innuendo background music “Rock You like a Hurricane”, which is important because of the persuasion to the thirty year old professional white male. Throughout the beginning of the commercial there is important lyrics blocked out that many thirty year olds would most likely know without even thinking about it. As the commercial is coming to the end and is about to show the burger it states with the intense lyrics of “Here I am, Rock you like a hurricane, Here I am”.
Ownership – Treorchy Comprehensive School is a public sector school so this means it’s owned by the local authority (Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council). The board of governors determines the strategy of the school and the SMT run the school on a daily basis. However, they are limited by what RCT and the welsh Assembly Government tell them what to do.

They also state that a child will watch around 20,000 commercials a year. But that is just commercials there are also posters and ads on the radio as well, meaning that you cannot escape the overwhelming amount of advertisements out there. Not only are there thousands of commercials being seen each year, but also there are certain ways as to how these commercials are designed and delivered. We give these very little thought but the companies slogans seem to stick to us like glue.
