In this letter, I hope to show you why I am interested in going to County Prep. County Prep has been my number one choice for high school. The County Prep mission statement says, “We are a dynamic, diverse and compassionate learning community…” From only this part of the statement, it shows me that this high school is not only an active learning community; it is also a distinct and caring community. This statement persuades me that every student that enters County Prep feels comfortable and that they are there because their future depends on this place. High school is the starting point to pick what you want to be when you grow up. I choose County Prep because it gives you a head start on college and I believe this is what my future depends

Many of the reasons I would like to go to Agnes Scott stem from my personal values. Tradition, community, and a good education are important to me and I feel that Agnes Scott can provide all of these. In addition, I would value the unique experience of attending a women's college. But most of all, I would love to use your college’s Science Center, which houses equipment usually only available at large, impersonal state universities.

From what I have been through, my current high school experience has not been meeting my expectations. After speaking with friends and parents, I believe that Archbishop Mitty High School can provide the experience that I am seeking. The reason why County prep is my school of choice is because, It's a Safe community, and has more than one opportunity for me, I believe it will provide a challenge for me. He is a very exceptional student that would benefit your school if he were to attend. He is a famous climber who has climbed every mountain he could touch. During one of his climbs a few years back he wanted to climb the south side of Mount Everest. He gathered a few other climbers who were willing and set out to climb. Part of the way through the climb, he fell and ended up with horrible injuries. He had to be airlifted to the hospital and he ended up being paralyzed in one leg.
