The Meaning of Life Christopher Nieves Touro College
Life is a gift. It is an honor, a spark, an excitement. We all have a world of our own. Albert Camus, once said, “You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life” (Camus, 1946). Life is about living to your fullest abilities. Why waste our time looking for the meaning of each breath we take? Each person is a part of life. Each life has a world of its own. I believe that the meaning of life, is to find meaning in our own life. The meaning of life is a philosophical question concerning the significance of life or existence in

I turn. Imposters everywhere. I turn surround me. I'm surrounded by identity crisis everywhere. I turn Am I the only one who's noticed? I can't be the only one who's learned I don't want to be anything other than what I've been trying to be lately. All I have to do is think of me and I've peace of mind,
I'm tired of looking 'round rooms wondering what I got to do Or who I'm supposed to be. I don't want to be anything other than me” (azlyrics.com). What these lyrics are basically saying is that he can see that everyone around him is acting like something that there not. Then he says that he doesn’t want to act like everyone else and not know who he is but he just wants to be himself and live life the way he wants to.
The next topic that is a good place to find out the meaning of life is the creative minds of artist and there art work. Art work is always a good place to find out the meaning of life because again the artist have a message in there work hidden and you have to find what there saying. The only difference from music is instead of saying the message they paint the message in a form of image weather it’s a paining or it’s a sculpture. There is many ways that you can discover meaning of life. In some ways its not what you find the meaning of life in its more about what you perceive of the meaning of life. When you look at something like a painting or a song what do you think it is trying to say? Does it paint
The meaning of life is to find the meaning of life. Is it not? We all go through each day trying to figure out which road out the infinite amount of paths will lead us in a better direction where happiness is prominent and society is flawless. However, not every single human being is going to fit on that narrow, one-lane highway to success. Bad choices, accidents, fate, family matters, society, temptation, anger, rage, addiction, and loss of hope can all be deciding factors in opting to choose that wrong path to self-destruction. The adverse thing is, once you've traveled so far down the road, you get so discouraged that you feel like you can never turn back or make up for the "lost time."

What is the meaning of life? According to Chris McCandless living free and not conforming to the natural way of life is the meaning to life, as shown in the book Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. Similar to Chris McCandless, Ralph Emerson believes that following your dreams and making your own trail is the meaning of life according to his short story “Self-Reliance” by Ralph Emerson. The purpose of man's existence is to avoid conformity and following one's own instincts and ideas.
What is the meaning of life? This has been a topic that has been greatly debated and discussed for as long as anyone can remember. Many people believe that happiness is the key to life and living a good life. Although achieving happiness can be difficult and it is another topic that no one really has a clear definition of and no one knows how to truly acquire it and can actually differ from person to person. John Steinbeck actually asks a question about happiness and in the story Cannery Row by John Steinbeck there are many different characters who… seem to have quirky personalities. While these characters do seem to live a tough life and don’t seem to have very much as far as money they are actually happy and content with their lives.
But, as philosopher Tom Nagel has argued, this is not the sense of “the meaning of life” people are usually interested in. Suppose an alien species created human life in order to provide them with a future food supply. Then the purpose of human life is to be food for aliens. That would be the meaning of life, if we take
Some may say that it is possible to just "live life", and to never worry of the stumble or strife involved with finding your true meaning. But that in itself is finding meaning for living; to live life at it's fullest. Also, it is even quite possible to search for the deeper meaning while just living for today, because today is the best place to find that very meaning.
In the book What’s It All About? by Julian Baggini discusses philosophy and the meaning of life. This reading was able to bring different perspectives on ideas of the meaning of life that I have thought about before. I was also able to learn about these concerns about life 's meaning or meaninglessness in a philosophical standpoint. Some of the chapters that I found interesting included the chapters titled looking for the blueprint, here to help, and becoming a contender.

What is life? Life is a privilege to have, “life is the existence of an individual human being or animal.proceeding to death”. Many people have the thought of life being just about being born to die and have no apparent reason for their life. In the other hand some people have a different mind set or a strong belief that they were born for an important reason, either to accomplish a goal or a mission, but who influences do these people have on them to keep them going?, well simple there are guys like me that all it takes for me to move on is a little push from my family and friends to keep on going whenever im feeling down or i feel like i can't accomplish an objective without messing up those people who care about me are
All of human life comes down to one thing, the making and breaking of relationships. These relationships are formed in order to feel emotions; love, happiness, sadness, anger, resentment. It is because of these feelings that people are able to form their own consciousness and find a purpose for themselves. Religions such as Christianity find the meaning of life to be forming a relationship with God and when you die, you are judged by your mortal sins and are forever sentenced to heaven or hell. Buddhism tries to find the meaning of life through enlightenment and the preservation of oneself throughout all existence. The meaning of life is at the same time the most discussed, yet taboo thing to talk about. The nature of having a volatile topic that is interpreted differently between people can be difficult, but it is needed in the preservation of the human race.
What is life about? Just living, or maybe giving or something else. At this point the question goes differently just as all of us are different. All of us see life differently and as well the goals are different. Though there is something in common we all have. We all want to be happy in this world. Some people believe that love gives happiness, another wealth...All with different concept. They spend most of their time and energy to get it. But it does not give a guaranty of satisfaction. Meanwhile it could give you basic comforts of life.
My few years on this planet have been a bit confusing. I have learned of many aspects of life from which one can draw meaning, if indeed such meaning can be drawn. I have also learned that there can be no singular meaning of life to stand for us all, or even any one of us. What I have learned above all is that trying to put words to the meaning of life is a task of absolute absurdity. This is not to be confused with the idea that life has no meaning, for life certainly has meaning. However, there is no single meaning of life to be defined - life is different for us all. Therefore, rather than define life for an entire planet, I shall try to explain what life means as I perceive it, and why it means so.
Thinking about life, we all know that life is the most important thing that we have right now. Without life, we are nothing.Have you ever asked yourself what the purpose of your existence is? Why you’re here? Some say that life has no meaning, but others say there is. They believe that our life was already written and destined. Everything happens to us for a reason. But what is life? Why do we have to feel the sufferings and challenges? Why do they say that “just do your best” even though it’s still not enough? Why is life unfair? I asked one of my friends what life is for him, he answered, 10% is what happens to you and 90 % is how you react to it. He enlightened me.I started to think that it is in our hands. The answer is what you think of it.
The consideration of the purpose of life has been ongoing and is never-ending throughout the course of history. The question itself has caused many people to generate many different strong views and opinions based on traditional, ideological backgrounds, and religious outlooks. The deliberation about the meaning of life will never end since there is not one reassuring basic, general answer. Instead, examine the question in another way, like, “What is my purpose in life?” The purpose of life varies from one person to another because of “free will.” While some people believe that for every human, life is called to some divine duty by God, everyone has a different drive that is waiting to be discovered within themselves, and people must set
Life as we know it could vanish within seconds. The next day is not promised to anyone that walks on this earth. As we live our everyday lives peacefully, we tend not to think what our mission or purpose in life is. Instead, we think what we must do for that to be a “successful” person. Despite this way of thinking, just think for a second. What makes life meaningful? What is life anyway? These questions dive right into the heart of the philosophical, psychological, and the biological aspects of life and what the true meaning of life is. This is a very arguable topic due to every person’s different perspective on life and what it means to them. In summary, I personally think that life is simply what you make of it and each person’s accomplishments has its own merit
