Media Bias This is a topic that affects millions of people around the world and not only in America. Media bias is how journalists and news companies select and use information within mass media to promote a certain belief or to acquire monetary gains. This is a very important topic because media affects what we believe, and some of our actions such as voting. Our human nature that help us to solve problems and guarantees our survival makes us take a decision on whether something is beneficial for us or not. That is why we have believes. This topic has been debated for many years and it is a current topic because there is always a current mass shooting. This is topic is a little bit hard to debate because the two contracting arguments could have reasonable answer. My position in this is that people have the right to protect themselves as well as their family. We can not rely on the police to protect us. Bad people that are determined to do bad things or want to hurt someone will find a way to either get a gun through the black market or use another type to of tool that can cause harm or intimidation. Gun also allows citizens to keep some control in their hands by being able to resist against tyrants from seizing power and protecting the nation from enemies. For this topic I would like to find data where it shows how other countries that ban guns failed or failing. An example could be Mexico where is rifles are illegal and you can only small gun legally. As we know, drug cartels traffic guns in Mexico and other countries. When there is a mass shooting or the like, that is always the breaking news. By broadcasting something that is concerning to the public, people will turn on their tv in order to get the latest news. Media manipulates information to make more money. Fews are the times when there is a main story where a person saved himself of his family because he owned a gun. That type of stories doesn't sale. Although I'm a immigrant sometimes I don't support immigration because throughout my school career I have met other immigrant students and people that in my opinion don't deserve to be here. They either don't appreciate the country, don't want to get education, or simply don't work hard enough to make a substantial difference in their lives. There is all kinds of people, hard working and responsible people to people that want to have a free ride in the welfare system. I would like clarify my opinions about immigration and more specifically in sanctuary cities. I would like to research how sanctuary cities are doing economically, criminally, and if it really benefits the community living in the cities and the rest of the country. One of the issues that I might run into while researching for this topic is that there might few resources that are reliable. Immigration is most of the time the main topics that are discussed during the elections but sanctuary cities might be a little too specific that there will not be enough scholar information. In my opinion people that are already in the country should be helped so they can adapt to the American culture and in return they benefit the country by paying taxes and bringing new bright
