Throughout the years that ive been in school I have not ever interviewed someone and written an essay. Although it may sound scary I didn't mind at all considering the fact that it became fun when I found out what we had in common. My classmate seems to be a motivated person. We share the English Comp. 1 class together. During this interview, I discovered that Shunquiez Levingston has a set life goal, a pretty cool home hobby, and a hard working life. First, Shunquiez believe that career goals and getting education is always important. She is in college, attending UACCH, for medical office manager. For the reason of choice in career, Shunquiez's aunt works as a medical office manager herself. Her aunt is her role model, that is who she looked …show more content…
Also, she will be handling medical records and dealing with patient's insurance. Secondly, Shunquiez has a very good interest in reading. As a matter of fact she became quite fond of reading at a young age. There are certain types of books that she enjoys reading which are romance and urban fiction. The urban fiction catches her attention the most because it is about black people and telling their life as a drug dealer, wife, side chick (a girl that messes with a man who has a girlfriend), etc. Both types are her favorite because those genres are telling a love story that every woman wants to have or always dreamed of. God Don't Like Ugly is her select favorite. It is about a girl who was raped by a man who moved in her mother's house as a rentor. The girls' bestfriend killed the man and later on her life had began to go down hill. As a result, it became her favorite because it talks about real life situations that many young girls can relate to. In her opinion " a lot of young girls have been raped and let it get the best of them and blame themselves". Yet, with loving to read, Shunquiez does not have a favorite
Thank you again for the opportunity to interview for the Access Center Manager position. I enjoyed our conversation, and I am very excited about the possibility of joining the team. After ending our call, I did a deeper research, according to the location you provided me and voila!! “Open Access", is the center where I have been sending all my chronic dialysis patient while working as a Chronic dialysis nurse for evaluation and treatment of the clotted or malfunctioning access, and it is also located relatively closer to my home address.
Aranzazu has always wanted to become a doctor. She has three older brothers, but is the first in her family to go to college. Her parents work at a local Thai restaurant her mother works as a waitress but her father works in the kitchen and sometimes manages the restaurant when the owner takes a day off. They taught all their children the importance of hard work. Fulfilling your responsibilities. Before her parents immigrated to the U.S. they were both in the medical field, in El Salvador, her father was a dentist and her mother was a nurse. However, their degrees do not transfer to the U.S. system. So they have accepted working at the restaurant to support their family. Aranzazu is a full-time student at PCC and is transferring to UCLA. I would like to pursue my career in medical office support. In this particular job you do not need a lot of education but you would need a completion of a medical office support class. I have to help people when they first enter the hospital. I am the first person to greet the patients once they enter the hospital. While you are working in the hospital you can’t give out a patient name. However, you have to have your license in order to work with the file papers.
The interview of a case manager is designed to give students the chance to create an opportunity of interaction with case management. During the interview, the focus is to establish connection in understanding the purpose of their duty, adapted theory of function, ability to maintain self-poise, intellectual thinking process to maneuver from one case load to another, and demand of the population to whom the service benefits. The interview process provides an overview adjustment to distinguish the relevance between the provider mission statement in contrast with the employee who transforms the vision to concrete, workable possibilities of wonders while helping the client. The reinforcement of speaking live with a case management employee helps to understand the purpose, the process of initiating help, and placing individuals with community resources to help support individual needs.
I have Interview 3 separate individuals representing three generations my parents, my mother in-law, and my husband.
Going to the Medical Office Association Meeting was a great learning experience. I went to the meeting that was held on Monday March 16, 2015. The topic that was being discussed on that meeting was the Conference Meeting and Volunteering.
In today’s rapid changing world, leaders are very pertinent, especially in the field of nursing. Good nursing leaders have the ability to provide direction, facilitate structure to reach goals, and cohesiveness throughout team members. Leader by definition is “someone who uses interpersonal skills to influence others to accomplish specific goals” (Sullivan & Decker, 2009, p. 329). On the other hand a manager is different. Their goal is geared toward being responsible and accountable for the goals of the organization. Below is the summary of an interview with L.A. Patient Care Manager of Endoscopy/ Special
Dr. Richard Martin Ruiz, MD, FACS has the background that can influence health policy at the local, state, and national level. For this assignment, I am interviewing my cousin who happens to be a nurse in Arizona. The reason I picked her instead of someone local is because she was someone who I never would have thought would ever become a nurse, much less graduate from high school. She was always getting into trouble, causing trouble, and just seemed as though her life was headed nowhere. She ended up married and pregnant at 18 and a couple of years after that she was working as a nurse at a Sharp Hospital in San Diego before moving to Arizona. I am so proud of her because not only did she turn her life around, she really does know her job inside and out. If I have a medical question,
For the second interview, one of the questions was if you work for the State Hospital, what will be the reason to leave? The second question something like this, if you get hire, what will be you plan to catch up with the project assigned to you?
It is very important for the administrator to understand the regulation and statutes in health care, it is not just because it’s their job, but it is because administrator are the ones that are in charge of managing the entire facility (depends how big is the workplace is), and responsible for the staff. Knowing the role of law that applies in health care settings and how the apply it in the facility are good characteristic of an administrator. Most of the administrators are usually the ones that work behind the scene to make sure all the activities and staff that works in the facility/clinic are following the regulation that are presented to each in everyone. They are also the ones that arranging/fixing some problems
It is thought by some people that good health plays a vital role in each of person, so health care services would not apply for private-owned business . From my perspective, medical services in private enterprises bring more benefits than drawbacks.
Did any of your medical provider has mention to you that you are supposed to obtain an authorization for specific test consultation of medical equipment
In my life, I find it easy to pick a person who I feel, I can look up to and really confide in. For the case of this essay, I really dug deep and was looking for someone who I really can talk a lot about why I look up to and admire them. After much thought and consideration, I realised someone who I looked up to, was not part of my family. They are one of my many ColorGuard Couches. All of the couches in this program are amazing, but one coach who really sticks out to me is our Head Coach Emma Osle. Even though this is my first year in her guard, I have really seen and experienced many way she is helping us and being a good role model. Emmas Ability juggle school, work, and running the guard, her ability to motivate us even at our worst,
My participant is Jessa Ricci. She is a 24 year old single female who works as a full time young adult librarian. I found her through my local library and she kindly accepted my offer to interview her during her lunch break. I learned that she is interested in art, literature and exploring new beauty regimens because she is very passionate about maintaining a healthy skincare routine. Jessa strongly values spending time with her family and friends and considers security, financial stability and her well-being imperative factors in her life. She received a bachelor’s degree, majoring in History then pursued a Master’s in Library Science at Queen’s College. During her undergraduate studies she worked part time in retail for almost two years and earned extra money through babysitting gigs. When she entered her junior year at Hunter College she was offered a position as a page for her library, generating an interest to work in public service. Her current routines include waking up at 6:30 every morning, eating breakfast, unwinds by watching the news, taking care of her dog, preparing her essentials for work which consists of her name tag, lunch and water bottle.
