Growing up I was always told that I could be anything I want to be with just a little hard work. Now my parents never said well you could only be what a girl is suppose to be. So with that I had dreams of being a doctor, pilot, and even a truck driver because I thought it was so cool to drive big trucks. With that being said I never thought that girls were not equal to boys because boys were better than girls. Even anything I thought I was better than all the boys because I was. Women and men tend to do things differently and that’s okay and that is okay as long as the outcome is the same. Men and women are not ‘equal’ in their gifts but both sexes have a multitude of specific gifts and we always remain equal in our dignity as human persons. I hope that people will finally see that women can do everything that men can and respect women for doing what they tend do better than them.
