There are many characters to blame but there is only one character that has many reasons to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. In Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, Romeo and Juliet kill themselves and the character to blame for their deaths is Mercutio. You could blame many other characters like: Romeo, Friar Lawrence, or even the Clown. I picked Mercutio because he had the most reasons of why you could blame him like: he made Romeo go to the Capulet party and he just had to fight Tybalt. The first reason to blame Mercutio is he made Romeo go to the Capulet party.
