The client met with his counselor to discuss the problem area that he needed to work on to improve his life situation. The client is currently working on several assignment that are part of his treatment plan. However, the first is dealing with addiction to Meth and how it has affected his nervous system and may have caused a stroke the client reported that he wants to stop, depending on others to help keep him focus, he wants to learn to do this for himself. The client reported that he’s never stood on his own two feet, he was always with somebody, mother wife, and using Meth. The client reported that it a scary thought having to do this by himself. He stated that she is five months pregnant, and that she should not be using drugs. He also stated that she was tested for drugs use yesterday and the day before. He mentioned that when she was tested Monday she tried to dip the urine cup in the toilet, but her results came back and stated that water was mixed in the urine. Evidence by constantly talking, and constantly moving during the interview. Due due to the concerned behavior from the school, and pedatrician, Sharon Beall. Bmo was drug screened, and tested positive for Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, and Methadone. Bfa was not drug screened throughout the investivation, due to his demeanor being calm and normal. Accidents can happen at any time and can be caused by many reasons such as rain, speeding, drug, or alcohol. An automobile accident is what brought the 16-year-old boy to the emergency to be care for by the medical staff there. The patient was seen by the ER staff for several hours, and he was admitted later in the inpatient unit for observation. The next morning when staff tried waking the patient he was died.

The novel, by Nick Reding, titled Methland follows the effects of meth on a small town, but it also gives us insight in to how these three factors play a major role in the making, use, abuse, and distributing of this drug.
