According to Don Quijote (2017), the Mexican culture is filled with traditions like celebrating the “La Quinceanera”, the fruit filled paper-mache called a “Pinata”, and the famous/dangerous heroic bullfighting. How this culture is different from the American culture is by their Spanish language, family structures, values/beliefs, education, personal appearance, and traditions. Certainly, the Spanish language is the second most spoken language in the world. Other different qualities of the Mexican culture would be how they balance work and family. Unlike Americans, Mexicans place family first before work or their profession. In addition to family, the American family teaches children how to value education and occupation. On the other hand, the Mexican family teaches their children how to value family before anything else. The noticeable differences between the two cultures is the meal traditions, and personal appearance. The American culture does not have as many traditional meals as the Mexican culture holds. The Mexican foods are known for their unmistakable spices and herbs (Acapulcos, 2015).
