Project Proposal For this project, I have decided to open a coffee shop that serves regular and specialty coffee, and small pastry items that is located in a prominent neighborhood near a train station or a high foot traffic area. Coffee has become a popular beverage where it is not just needed in the mornings but throughout the day, whether they are on their way to work or just to sit and relax. I am a coffee drinker myself and it is uncommon to find a coffee place that has a warm, home feeling atmosphere. It is important to have one of these types of coffee shop in any neighborhood. Given that coming up with the coffee shop would incur a lot of effort, time and investment, having the right people for the project and managing the project team in an effective and efficient manner would be very important. The project team for this project is given below would be there for the duration of the project, and assigned various tasks that would need to be done. There would be additional people engaged if required based on any specific requirement that may be there.

According to the researched the demographics of City of La Verne. According to the 2012 statistical summary of City of La Verne (ci.la-verne.ca.us), population was 31,461, which means it is a very small and private town with a very small population. The median age was 43.1, which indicates the population consists of senior people. Besides, there were 11,366 households and median household income was 73,541, which was higher than average household income in Los Angeles County. Therefore, a lot of residents have more time and money to enjoy coffee in store. Meanwhile, students from University of La Verne are very important parts of the target customers, because young college students love to hang out with peers and enjoy coffee. A survey was conducted to determine whether or not Starbucks should introduce lunch and dinner foods to the menu. Three thousand individuals were surveyed at various retail locations and malls. The threat of new substitute products and alternatives is also high for the same reasons for buyer power. The Café also faces the threat of new entrants due to the lack of insignificant entry barriers. One upside is the relatively weak supplier power. The coffee industry is huge as stated above and vendors are more than ample. With this information we can conceive our business focus. For my ethnography report, I chose to study Starbucks located inside the NJIT campus center in Newark, New Jersey. The purpose of this study was to identify the behaviors and possible needs of the people in the area that enter this establishment, and possibly all coffee shops located inside a school campus. I started my ethnography research at 1:45 Pm and ended at 3:45, it was slightly snowing which is a variable that I took into consideration. During the two hours that I spend at the coffee shop only 4 people walked in which I found unusual because people tent to grab a cup of coffee whenever the weather is unpleasant.
With 11,000 plus coffeehouses worldwide, it is evident that their strategy of being passionate about their customer relation and their devotion to delivering a quality product goes beyond culture and language.
Now Imagine this a Cafe' where you go somewhere in your town or it could be far, depending on where its built. You walk into a Cafe'. You start to smell fresh sweet or regular pastries and coffee brews that are being made.
The company location is based at Penang, Butterworth Sunway Carnival Mall. The facilities such as free Wi-Fi, comfortable sofas and chairs, dimmed light and quiet relaxing music will help the customers to relax from the daily stresses and will differentiate Starbucks Coffee shop from incumbent competitors. To speed up the customer service, at least two employees will be servicing clients. Meanwhile one employee will be preparing the customer’s order, the other one will be taking care of the sales transaction.
To formulate success factors for coffee at a choice location, it is necessary to realize the functional purpose of the coffee shops to understand who the main visitors to coffee shops are, establish the reasons for the visit and the expectations of clients. Extensive market research to ensure an acceptable accuracy on these factors, Russia has not carried out, and use the western calculations on similar topics can be used only in extremely limited range.

Coffee shop is the famous business in Cochin. Coffee or Tea bar is a daily requirement for the local coffee lovers, and it is a place to dream big things in life and to discuss among friends and relatives and just a comfortable place to meet your loved ones or to read a book, all alone. With the growing demand for high-quality tea or coffee and great service, The Melody Coffee shop will mainly focus on the institute of management studies in Cochin and other private institutes also. The kind of culture will offer its customers the best prepared coffee/tea in the area that will be served with a muffin and a sweet, moreover we will provide some free books that many more old customers can read and enjoy their visit. The shop will operate a 70 square foot coffee bar near to the entrance of the institute of management studies in the building. The identified place can be obtained for lease for 8 months and it is possible to get a nearly extension in the upcoming months and years. The start-up funding which is available with Mr. Hemant is INR 80,000/- and it is surely that the remaining amount of Rs 50000 will be incurred through some commercial loans from the Bank of Baroda. The business is expected to gain more and more profit that will be more than 150000 per year. Melody Coffee shop will try to maintain a high gross profit margin and reasonable operating expenses throughout the year.
Coffee, a cup of Joe, Java or brew, it goes by many names. It can be your morning jump-start or even used as an afternoon pick me up, to be enjoyed alone or with the company of others. It is a drinkable source of energy that is enjoyed in the United States and in many other places around the globe as well. It’s no wonder that coffee is such a popular commodity. Companies such as Starbucks and Peet’s Coffee have revolutionized the coffee shop industry in the United States by making it easy and convenient for consumers to purchase single-serving cups of coffee on a regular basis. Not only is the service quick and convenient, but it also allows consumers the ability to personalize their drinks to make it to their desired preference, making it a more enjoyable experience rather than just having a cup of instant coffee at home. In this paper, I will be exploring the coffee shop industry, which will be defined as firms who sell single-serving cups of coffee to their consumers.
The demand for coffee shops is born from the increased number of individuals seeking coffee brewed outside of the home. This creates a larger market for coffee shops. The company will start as a small company and first 3 years all benefit will move to growing. There is lots of coffee shop in Varna but in the same time there is not any mobile coffee shop. There is lots of coffee machine of street but they are not making fresh coffee and they can not talk. The main idea is building friendship with our costumer and serving them the most fresh and the best coffee in everywhere and any time when they need.
