Program Assessment How many persons are receiving services? As a whole the CHEER program is now actively involved within the Liberty city’s Block by Block boundaries. This extents north until NW 79 street, west to NW 27 avenue, east until I-95, and south until NW 41 street. There are 13, 089 families within Liberty City. Within those families CHEER services approximately 350 families. Are those receiving services the intended targets? Of those receiving services, all are consider to be the intended targets. CHEER is funded through a grant from the Health Choice Network who has placed, as any grant would, strict regulations as to whom CHEERS becomes available to. Continued progress is very much dependent on community cooperation and vision. Barriers we anticipate include: realistic concerns about privacy law (HIPAA and FERPA). National standards and regulations for the exchange of health information are more developed than for educational records. Resistance of clinical, educational and social service professionals to change practice patterns to be able to effectively utilize cross-sector data. Because CHEER is such a new project, most of the regulations of collecting data and delivering services are created by staff members who may not necessary have the background in social work or social services. There are a lot of trails and errors which for the most part is embraced by the Director(s). Is the program well organized? Does staff work well with each other? The CHEER program has not been mastered fully and because of its constant growth as it contains school and community involvement; the program probably will never be welled organized. The staff of MCI are open to each others mistakes and is williang and ready to lend a helping hand when needs arrive. Does the program coordinate effectively with the other programs and agencies with which it must interact? Many professionals within education and other areas of expertise argue about whether or not government intervention is mainly a positive or negative thing. I intend to discuss and hopefully come to a conclusion regarding how effective interventions are within the United Kingdom and I am going to explore the success of such interventions. Cheerleading is a sport that many people don’t support in a way that they support the popular sports in most schools, like football and basketball. Cheering can open many doors and create an ample amount of job opportunities. By cheering you can also receive full ride athletic scholarships from many schools. A cute skirt and pompoms is not the only thing you have to work for when it comes to cheering. Just as any other sport you have to have a certain grade point average to try out for your cheerleading team and also you are held accountable for maintaining your grade point average with also being held accountable for remembering cheers, games day dates and events that you will have to attend with your team. Cheer teaches you many things other than being able to tumble and shout! As a cheerleader, you learn to encourage anyone that needs that boost of encouragement, we learn how to work together with other people. Your cheer team members will become your family!
Cheer practices can sometimes only be two hours, but they can also be up to a long and hard seven hours. This requires athletes to sacrifice an extraordinary amount of time, often on weekends for them to succeed at a high level. In an interview recently conducted with a local cheerleader Rebecca Ruddock, who competes with a traveling cheer gym called Terre Haute Cheer University, (THCU) she said that she practices an average of nine hours a week with her different teams and an additional four hours a week on her own.
Cheerleading is simply entertainment for viewers and is a social club for its participants. “Sports Beat - The Sport of Cheerleading: It’s a lot More than Just Pompoms and Smiles,” points out that a main benefit of cheerleading is the ability to “easily transition into the entertainment industry” (Hatton C-04). This statement supports our belief that cheerleading should not be considered a sport. Cheer-leading, the leading of cheers at sporting events is not a sport. Entertainment, versus athleticism, is more of what cheerleading is. Team supporters are present at games/events to raise school spirit and encourage cheering. Cheerleading generally requires a competition to be in progress, so the cheerleading itself can occur. This is not an activity which can take place alone.
Although CHEER may seem hard and overwhelming to students, they have to push themselves to achieve an A in both courses. Establishing a growth mindset in summer school is key to being successful in the classes that are being taken. Students should take advantage of tutoring and lab time that is offered. Wisely using both opportunities, CHEER students have the ability to obtain an A in both courses. In order to do so, students have to keep a healthy brain by getting rest, exercising and living a healthy lifestyle. By doing such things, students will be prompt and ready for class.
From an outsiders perspective one may see brainless and beautiful robots, which scream and perform neat tricks. This is not the case from the inside; cheerleading is so much more than that. Many people are under the impression that cheerleading is not a sport. I am the voice of reasoning that will let you in, and I will show you that cheerleading, in fact, is a sport. Cheerleading requires much physical demand from the body just as any other sport would. Cheerleading, in general, is a team effort. There are many sides to cheerleading, which make it a versatile sport. When it comes to cheerleading there’s more to it than what meets the eye.
Cheer Athletics in Plano is one of the most prestigious competition gyms in the country. There are other Cheer Athletics’ branches in other places like Frisco and Austin, but not one is as successful as Plano. It is the absolute best place to go for a serious cheerleader. The best and most experienced coaches work there and they are hungry to win. They expect every ounce of energy and athleticism to be left on the floor when we are finished performing. I have never had any problems with an authority figure until I started at Cheer Athletics.

Many of the communities struggled in securing a cost-effective technology with interoperable data sources and gaining political support. One of the biggest things cheerleading can teach a person is responsibility. This is a value that encompasses every aspect of the sport. The first things you are made to do in cheer is to take responsibility when you mess up and deal with the consequences. For example, when we run the routine in cheer everyone is expected to perform all their duties within the routine. If someone misses an element or causes a part of the routine to mess up they must deal with the punishments the coaches assign. Typically the punishments are sets of exercises meant to strengthen the body or running the routine several more times, but the consequences are always carried out by the whole team. This puts more responsibility on each individual because if they mess up the whole team must pay the price. Another part of responsibility in cheer is keeping up with one’s individual skills.
