When people think of Oklahoma, they usually think about flatlands and waving wheat. The thought of terrorism would never come into mind. This is exactly what the people of Oklahoma City would’ve been thinking if asked about terrorism. Sadly, on the day of April 19, 1995, Oklahoma and the nation was shocked as the unthinkable happened. The rest of the world stood still, and watched as people were rushed from the building. Families received information about their loved ones, and soon learned that they were no longer living. Parents were also sickened by the fact that their children would never be able to go to daycare again. As for the man in charge of this operation, his slow but authorized death was watched by families and friends of the victims. The rest of the nation should’ve been able to view this great punishment along with the families who were affected.

One of my biggest role models that I try to imitate is the crazy and funny, Mike Iaconelli. Mike Iaconelli known as “ike” is a big hit in professional fishing that sticks out more than any other fisherman there is out there. He’s a one hilarious man on and off TV. He is that type of person that actually loves what he does and tries his best at every tournament, even when he does his simple practices for the tournament that coming up. Ike is one of the main factors that draw in angler to try to become professional or even elite. When ike catches a fish he doesn’t just sit there and say “yeah I caught one finally”, no no no, he’s yelling at the top of his lungs “YEAAAHHHH”.

“Most of you view your futures in terms of careers and money. Remember that there is more to life than school and work.” Michael McCullough will remain one of the most influential figures who I am honored to have met. His personal experiences and inspirational stories will surely motivate any person. Thus, his words of advice have helped shape the visions of my own future—a future that I truly hope is filled with an inevitable excitement that opens many doors.
A main influence on someone’s future is the difficulties in life they had as a child. One author, Frank McCourt, showed many readers how he overcame his journey of a childhood full of pain and suffering. A very diligent man, he succeeded in writing memoirs, and teaching high school English. His memoir Angela’s Ashes became a Pulitzer Prize-winning piece of literature (Frank McCourt. EBSCOhost). Frank McCourt used his childhood of being an Irish Catholic in poverty to write his award winning book Angela’s Ashes.
I had removed corsets from my dresses, getting rid of full length and gave a new taste to my fashion. Which had never been done before. I had designed the infamous "Little Black Dress", the classic "Chanel Coat" and some of the bags, hats and shoes we know today. Boy do I love shoes! In 1933, I had decided to kick my feminist ideas into full gear! I made pants popular and fashionable to women. It was about time we had to wear something more than dresses and skirts! By 1935, I am at one of the highest points in my career, giving myself the worldwide love I had always wanted.Unfortunately,World War II was approaching. I had shut down all of my stores. Except for my little 21 Rue Cambon shop in Paris, making me in high demand. I didn't make anything during the war time, making everybody question what I was doing. I was even accused of being a spy. Me? A spy? How preposterous! I denied all of the accurate accusations being held against me. In 1954, I reopened and began designing again. Since I hadn’t made anything in a long while, many people had forgotten my work. It once again started to become very popular. Oddly in the United States, too. Oh, how I loved fashion. What I loved almost as equally as much was getting to be around people. Among the the late 50s and 60s I not only designed, but spent more time getting to know the people around me, as well as my models. In 1969, everyone in the world it seemed, including I,
