Now what everyone everyone argues about, still to this day is ‘who’s better?’ Michael Jordan or Lebron James? I’m just gonna put it this way, I personally think Michael Jordan is better than Lebron. Not because everyone loves him, but because i actually have my own reasonings.
Throughout seeing the charts of things, statistics wise, I of course noticed Michael has of course done above and beyond throughout his NBA career. Let me just say i’m not a big fan of basketball, but if i have to watch it i wont complain. Anyways, Michael has a high scoring rank in almost everything he has done such as the NBA championships, Seasons, Play-Offs, All-Stars, and he got Season MVP.
Lebron James clearly is trying too hard to be the next Michael, but only Michael can be himself. Now, i do give Lebron credit for never giving up, even though i

The one thing im sure attracted Michael’s fans was his love and passion for basketball. I am not saying there arent other people who have passion, but Michael was determined and never gave up.
Even after he was done with basketball, or during it i dont remember what it said, but Michael did other sports and was also very good at them as well. He just has no non perfect bone in his body. The main questions on the article all prove Michael is a much better athlete just by finding out the answers. The questions were like ‘Who scored more points, who averaged more points, who won more championships, who had more seasons, and who won more MVP awards?’ The answers to all of those were Michael Jordan. He averaged 13 out of Lebrons 10 in Play-Offs and he led the seasons with the score of 15 out of Lebrons 12 and lastly he got 5 Season MVPs out of Lebrons 4. It’s not very far apart on that one, but Michael still got more either way it
Now the reasoning behind him influencing people all over America, was that he was the best, his shoes, and just him in general. He completely changed every aspect of the game. He was a Man amongst boys, No matter how any team attacked him he found flaws and ate them alive right there. He had no sympathy for his opponents at all. He was cold-blooded on the court. His most monumental shot was against the Utah Jazz in game 7 of the conference semifinals, with only 1.7 seconds left Michael stepped back and took the shot, as it swished the crowd went crazy. That put Michael onto his 5th championship ring. Michael had made his mark in playoff history, when he set the record for most points scored ever by a player in playoff history. He had his alterations with the NBA though. Michael’s dad had a dream to play Major league baseball, Michael would attempt to follow his dad’s dream, he attempted it but would never make it professionally in baseball, he played minor league baseball but was never good at it. He came back to the NBA where he got traded to the Washington Wizards and became known as the Villain, where he would just still completely dominate the game of basketball. He kept his old team from making the playoffs 2 years in a row, Michael never won a championship with the Wizards though. But this was an alternate event for him, America didn’t know what to think anymore due to the fact he had to face his old team a lot here and there, and when they continuously won, that is where they started calling him a traitor and all Chicago Bulls resented him, even though Michael had nothing but love for Chicago, he said it was just a business and he couldn’t help it that he was traded but nobody cared to hear what he had to say, except for all Washington Wizards fans, and why not he had came to their city where he just gave the fans something to cheer for, they were winning
According to “LandOfBaketball.com,” Michael Jordan won 10 scoring titles in his career compared to LeBron’s 1 scoring title. Scoring titles are awarded at the end of the season to the player who averaged the most points per game. Also, LeBron James has a total of 30,356 points scored in 1,120 games while MJ has scored 32,292 points in 1,072 games, (LandOfBasketball). Having said this, Michael Jordan has scored more points than LeBron James even though LeBron has played more games. As a result, Michael Jordan is an overall better scorer.
Diffen.com, a trusted comparison website, stated, “Statistically if you compare, Kobe is older and more successful.” In sports, greatness links with success. Even though Lebron’s numbers are great with almost no help, Kobe has outperformed him “on TV”, meaning when you watch him play, it’s a different type of legend. Plus, some statistics prove Kobe is better.
On the other hand, people say that Michael Jordan is the best player. They said this because he has won 5 MVPs and 6 championships. Also he hold the NBA record for best point per game average with 30.12. But Lebron still is an active player in the NBA while Jordan in not. Lebron is only on his 13th season, he still has more time. Therefore, Lebron is better than Jordan. This evidences is significant because if you compare the
Two begin with,Michael has had many accomplishments. He has jumped up to forty-eight inches is what is recorded highest jump in the world. According to the article," He became the first player since Will Chamberlin to score more than three-thousand points in a single season.(paragraph five ,article Michael Jordan). This evidence shows that he is a very good basketball player. He also, sixty-points points in one game, but Kobe has scored eighty-one points in one game but Michael has won a gold medal. According to the article," Jordan later helped the American team bring home the gold medal at the 1992 Olympic Games...in Barcelona,Spain". This evidence
Lebron James is the greatest basketball player of all time and surpasses Michael Jordan.Lebron James is the better than Michael Jordan because of stats, potential, and Michael Jordan’s overrated career.
When considering greatness, there are certain factors that should be pondered upon. Physical capability, aptitude on the court, and leadership are all major factors in determining a player’s legendary status. Kobe Bryant and LeBron James display all of these qualities, and worked day in and day out throughout their careers to achieve those key factors. But when considering who the better player is, LeBron bests Kobe in every
The biggest debate in sports history. And will never be settled. Michael Jordan or Lebron James? Who’s better? Let me make that decision easier for you.
Has anyone ever asked you, “who is better Michael Jordan or LeBron James?” and you do not know what to say because, in your eyes, they are of equal talent. The statistical evidence and statements from players around the league will show who truly the better player is.
Jordan and James have accomplished many things as an individual and they both took their teams to the next level. They both won the NBA rookie of the year and the NBA all-rookie first team. Lebron is a two time all NBA second team, while Michael only accomplished 1. Michael is a five time NBA most valuable player to Lebron’s two. Michael also was a 14 time time NBA all-star to Lebron’s seven. Lebron was only a NBA scoring champion once, Michael is a ten time NBA scoring champion and three time NBA scoring champion. Since Lebron didn’t go to college he never experience college basketball and to mature his game for the pros like Michael Jordan did, and Michael got many awards while playing for North Carolina. He was awarded twice the consensus NCAA all American first team and led North Carolina to two championships. Michael is also included in a nine time all defensive first team, but Lebron was included only three times. Michael even won two gold medals from the Olympic Games.
When looking at Jordan and James’ fame, they are both equally popular, but it is how they handle the fame that sets them apart. Jordan is a class act, meaning he carries himself with honorable pride, not vanity. After Jordan signed with Nike his game only got better. He never felt as if he was too good for improvement and showed everyone great respect. James differs after he signed with Nike, his game flat-lined. He never showed any kind of improvement in his game, and his team never got any better. It seemed like he only tried when he had the ball, especially when his team was getting blown out.
Firstly, Michael Jordan’s whole entire career was incredible. All those years of him soaring through the air slamming the basketball ball with absolute authority, and owning the rim. He took controlled of the game basketball with acrobatic drives at the rim that defy the laws of
Also Michael has done some crazy things players like Lebron James only dream of doing. He had 10 triple doubles in 11 games when the Bulls put him at point guard but he then went back to shooting guard because it is more comfortable for him. He has the highest. He has the most 30 point playoff games with 109 and when Jordan made it to the finals the Bulls won the championship every single time. In his last finals game ever the Bulls trusted him so much that he was the only person on the Bulls to even touch the ball in the last 40 seconds and hit a game winning shot. Also in every full season that he
In the first round of the playoffs the Bulls lost to the Celtics. Even though Michael was injured he was still voted to the NBA All Star game but could not play because of his injury. Now what do you think, you should think Michael Jordan is the G.O.A.T because Kobe again lost in the off season to the Utah Jazz in four games with Shaq, also Lebron didn't even make the playoffs.
Imagine you are in the stands of a Miami Heat game watching the greatest player of the game Lebron James play. One minute you see in chasing down a defender to block him. Then next you see him running a fast break down the court flying through the air. Are you thinking that could be MJ? The answer would be no, because according to Lebron he is not MJ he is LJ.
