Word is a program that provides the user with a comprehensive set of tools for modern word processing. It allows you to format special documents and tables, create form letters and graphical presentations, and to exchange data with other applications. It is an essential program for entering and managing most text documents.
There are many advantages of using word to complete many different tasks and these are as follows.
1. Microsoft Word is an excellent word processing package for manipulating text documents as it provides you with an automatic spell and grammar check plus a thesaurus. Therefore, when producing professional documents (e.g. letters) there

If you need full database capabilities, create your tables in Microsoft Access. For a table that you can easily include in a PowerPoint presentation, use Word.
3. You can arrange text and graphics on a page by moving drawing objects, including text boxes, AutoShapes, Clip art, WordArt, pictures, and imported art in most cases. You can simply drag them to where you want them. However, you can also place drawing objects in a precise position, and you can "attach," or anchor, an object to a paragraph so that if you move the paragraph, the object automatically moves with it. You can wrap text around a drawing object of any size and shape. You can specify particular sides of the text box or graphic you want the text to wrap to and the distance between the text box or graphic and the text that surrounds it. You can layer text and graphics. For example, you can create a watermark that appears on the printed pages of a document.
4. You can set your page up accordingly to the way you want it to be laid out by using Page Set-up. This option allows you to alter the page in some way either by changing the margins, changing the orientation of the page from portrait to landscape or by changing the size of the paper. Also another feature of word is that you can add headers and footers to pages to give a clear identification of what the document is about. In the Page Set-up option it
I am deeply honored to be recognized as an eligible candidate for the National Honors Society. After learning about the National Honor Society, and what the organization represented, I knew it was something I wanted to participate in. This organization works hard to better educational opportunities for students across the nation, and that is something I would like to play a part in to further the outstanding reputation of the NHS. I believe that this is an opportunity I deserve due to my recognizable hard work. I am aware that the NHS is known for recognizing students with outstanding grades and commendable characteristics, which is something I believe I have obtained throughout my years of hard work.
I believe I deserve to be inducted into the National Honors Society because I am a dedicated, hard working, caring individual. I focus most of my free time on volunteering in the theatre community.

The novel Unbroken is about Louis Zamperini. The book starts out with Louie's older brother Pete being worried about Louis because he always gets himself into trouble. To try to turn Louie's life around his brother intruders Louie into running. Louie starts to practice and becomes very good at running. He becomes such a good runner that he makes it to the olympics.
Some would say it's like snowboarding, whereas others would say it's like skateboarding. I, on the other hand, believe surfing is unlike any other sport. Besides it being loads of fun and freeing your mind, it is also a great workout. Problem is, though, many people wonder how to get started and learn what to do. That's where I come in.
It is an honor to have been selected as an eligible candidate for the National Honor Society. It would be a privilege to be a part of such an amazing group, and if I am accepted into this society I promise to uphold to its standards.
The Brave and Forgiving Louie Zamperini survived on a raft in the middle of the ocean, for 47 days, with a finite supply of water, and no food! Louie was born in 1917, and was a troublemaker from the beginning. Louie’s older brother, Pete, encouraged Louie to run. Eventually Louie was on his way to the Olympics in Japan. However, fate had different plans for Louie, instead of Louie going to the Olympics, he was stranded on a raft for 47 days in the middle of the Ocean, and was sent to brutal POW camps for 2 1/2 years.
According to the great retired olympian track athlete Gail Devers, “Sometimes we fall, sometimes we stumble, but we can’t stay down. We can’t allow life to beat us down. Everything happens for a reason, and it builds character in us, and it tells us what we are about and how strong we really are when we didn’t think we could be that strong.” In Unbroken, a biography written by Laura Hillenbrand, Louis Zamperini illustrates Devers’ words with his resilience, springing back after his World War II bomber crashed and enemy forces captured him. In the end Louis’ ability to make due with every hellish situation life threw at him that influenced Hillenbrand’s aspired survival story.
Louie is like a great, inspirational person, why? Well because in the beginning he started to steal, smoke at a young age,and getting in trouble. But then his brother Pete taught him to become a track runner for the track team, and he raised up and light up the sky as he ran and later on, he became an olympic runner. As mentioned Louie had lots of difficulties throughout his life. For example, smoking, stealing, drinking and in such a young age he did all that. While his brother Pete was the good kid. It was like Louie was the bad side, and Pete being the good side. Throughout the story of Unbroken,(by Laura Hillenbrand), Louie Zamperini evinces his character traits of resilient and optimism throughout his actions.
14. The first limitation of Source O in regards to the purpose is that it is trying to persuade people to believe what he believes in: segregation. The fact that he’s trying to use persuasion doesn’t give the historian all of the sides and perspectives to the story. Therefore, the historian won’t be able to successfully establish what they really believe because only one perspective is being thrown at them. Another limitation of Source O in regards to origin is that the author, Tom Brady, is a leader of the pro-segregation White Citizens’ Council, which demonstrates that he is in an organization with a very narrow-minded and one-sided viewpoint. This most likely means that he does too; after all, he is a leader of it. By this, the historian,
