In 1994, 5 year old Eric Morse fell 14 stories from being thrown by two boys, Johnny and Tyrone. The two boys were 10 and 11, and they threw Eric out of an apartment window because he would not steal a piece of candy. Eric Morse, at five years of age, knew right from wrong. This shows that at age 10 and 11, as Johnny and Tyrone were, that they must have known what was right. Racial Bias and Automatic Response in the Misidentification of WeaponsOn March 18th, 2018 Sacramento police officers shot and killed 22-year-old Stephon Clark in the backyard of his grandmother’s house after mistaking his cellphone for a gun.
