The mission of the City of Parlier Public Works Department is to provide prosperous and essential accommodations to the public. This includes safe drinking water, sewer accommodations, solid waste accumulation, recycling and disposal, fleet maintenance, street maintenance, while complying with countless State and Federal regulations which must be adhered to in order to establish public health. The Public Works Department collaborates to provide preventative maintenance in order to establish reliability to the City of Parlier and its citizens.

In VUSM 300 I have been able to see the La Crosse community through a different perspective. Throughout this semester I have gone to a series of places at which I pretended to be like the minority of the community. Throughout this paper I will talk about when I visited the La Crosse jail, Salvation Army, Goodwill, and the Warming Center. After visiting these places I have become more conscious of how important it is to give back to those in your community that need a little help every now and then.

There were regular supervised contacts between Joanne and Kain whilst he was in the Milliken’s care. These contacts initially lasted for an hour and a half and would occur weekly. Overall, these contacts were reported to be positive with Joanne greeting Kain with warm hello’s followed by hugs and kisses. Joanne would often bring word puzzles or bring ingredients for her and Kain to bake a cake. Hi Montique, Thank you for responding to my post. I understand your feelings on not hugging clients. I too may not’s hug any of my clients, as well. I would do anything to help my client without violating any ethical standards even if I had to stand on my head.
