Michelle Beets was a nurse manager of the emergency department at Sydney’s Royal North Shore hospital. She was found stabbed to death on the 27th of April 2010 by Walter Marsh, a former US marine. Beets and Marsh had a working relationship where Beet’s had authority over Marsh and she chose not to renew his 12-month contract. Without a job, Marsh would have been forced back to the US because he was on a work visa in Australia. Weeks before the night of the criminal act, Marsh had familiarised himself with the home and had practiced the attack moves he was going to use on his own wife and her brother. I observed Harper, a 23 month old little girl that is full of energy. Also participating in the interaction with Harper was her mother and five year old sister, Mya. Harper is very friendly and outgoing. She is very interested “reading books” and loves to be read to. She enjoys helping her mother clean and do simple tasks. She seems to be very confident with and without her mother in her sight. Harper’s father is not actively involved in her life because he lives in another state.
Kaysen was only eighteen-years-old on April 27, 1967 when she was first admitted into the medium-security ward of McLean. Her voluntary admission came after an attempted suicide using fifty aspirin. During her time in McLean, Kaysen received treatment in many forms including- medication, therapy and analysis. She met a variety of all suffering from different psychological and psychiatric illnesses. A few of these fellow patients include: Lisa, Georgina, Polly, Lisa Cody and Daisy to name a few. Not only does Kaysen share stories with these fellow patients, but she also discusses everyday routines. For example, she went into detail about the “checks” that occurred at five, fifteen and thirty minute intervals to ensure the safety of the patients. She also described the weekly trips to the ice cream shop. Kaysen also went into detail about the staff that worked at McLean, including head nurse Valerie who was the nurse patients felt the most comfortable with. It was clear from her anecdotes that McLean had become a sense of home for Kaysen.

If you, or someone close to you has been involved in one of the numerous personal injury accidents that Silverthorne Attorneys deals with, it is time to weigh your legal options. This would include a situation that has caused any physical injury due to the negligence of another party. There are other factors we normally address in each individual case as well. This scene marked a crucial point of human loyalty and kindness that was lacking in other
"At night in my bedroom and buy day in the classroom, her image came between me and the page I strove to read I had hardly any patience with the serious work of life which, now that it stood between me and my desire, seemed to me child's play, ugly monotonous child's play (Norton Anthology 2238)." To make things worse, he can not possibly expect to have any control over the girl's feelings. As it is, he can barely speak to the girl, and when she finally does talk to him he is overcome with confusion. He is so desperate for recognition and care, that when he concludes that Mangan's sister is a potential source, he becomes fixated with her to the point of alienating himself from everything else in his life.
