In my opinion the goal is to have customers satisfied with their services without the long wait, therefore a good measurement for Minit Lube’s productivity would be the task accomplished by each team per hour. hence, the task accomplished by each group can be considered the input and the output by all indications, are the goals set forth by the company. In this case, we will start with how long it takes for each team to finish the work required work per hour. Such measures can help detect peaks and low productivity hours throughout the day. I applaud the current productivity strategy of Minit Lube. I would recommend that the company continues its high quality, fast, low-cost service about which the customers are so pleased. Secondly, Minit Lube must ensure that the curriculum for the Minit-Lube U is reviewed and enhanced as needed.
In conclusion Minit Lube has a great organizational structure and it is a company that is thriving and will continue to thrive if management continues to focus on the company’s goals, which is to create high quality, fast, low-cost service for their customers by differentiating their services from others in the market.
