The Target Corporation is the second-largest discount retailer in the U.S. Target?s mission is to ?make Target your preferred shopping destination in all channels by delivering outstanding value, continuous innovation and exceptional guest experiences by consistently fulfilling our ?Expect More, Pay Less? brand promise.? Fostering an inclusive culture is a core value that is integrated into every aspect of Target business. Through fostering an inclusive culture, Target enables all of their team members to leverage their unique talents and high performance standards to drive innovation and success. According to Target?s mission and core value, inclusive culture involves the full and successful integration of diverse people into the company. This indicates that effectiveness and efficiency needs to be improved in all departments, including marketing, financial, manufacturing, supply chain, etc. Last semester, I had an opportunity to visit the Target Phoenix Distribution Center where I found a problem related to supply chain management. The problem is the in-store fulfillment and the online fulfillment distribution centers are not actually integrated and they fill orders independently from each other. I will discuss the problem specifically in the next section. To achieve the goal and meet the core value, some actions need to be taken to solve the supply chain problem. My recommendations are to set up inventory and logistics tracking software between the distribution centers
