The Missouri State University public affairs mission has three pillars which are ethical leadership, cultural competence, and community engagement. If I were offered this scholarship, I would embrace all three pillars and exemplify them on campus. From being involved in my church since I was a young girl, I have developed strong morals and beliefs. I understand right from wrong, and hold a strong belief in equal opportunity among all individuals. In any organization I am a member in, I have always upheld a leadership role. It is in my nature to be a selfless leader by hearing all opinions and making sure they are represented. I will utilize my strong morals and my keen leadership skills to show ethical leadership on campus. In addition, I

I believe If accepted into Appalachian State University I would exude in both academically and both socially. Appalachian provides many appealing aspects to me, prominently their historical academic programs. Now as a 1st Generation, child of Mexican immigrants I was expected to attend a college in the city notorious for large classes and a standard picturebook college. When I first heard of appalachian I was in awe because it was everything I was not told about. The teenager in me had to investigate more, and the more I read about the university the more I fell in love. If I were to be accepted I would permanently reside in their campus, which would put me out of my comfort zone being that I’ve been in Cary my whole life and was born in New
Two specific groups that I identify with as part of my decision to attend Columbia Southern University is based on my family and work. As an individual my choice to attend is based on my own desire to achieve a higher education in order to obtain a job that is satisfactory to the life and goals I have mapped out for myself. By having a job for which I have specifically attended school for, it will allow me to get and sustain a career conducive to my own happiness and prosperity. While my own individual choice to attend school is great, I have a family that encouraged me greatly in this decision. Both my mother and father, between the two, have a Master’s degree in criminal justice, and a Bachelor's degree in paramedic studies. Naturally
I am interested in Central Connecticut State University because it offers a solid Engineering program. Central has a beautiful campus and both my Father and Mother attended Central Connecticut State University. CCSU has a small campus with a relatively small student body. I value the oppurtunity to have a more personal relationship with my
I would be an excellent fit for Appalachian State University and am eager to both embark on this new path of life and better myself as a person. I am determined to fulfill my potential and am certain that enrolling in Appalachian State would help me do so. Appalachian State provides numerous educational opportunities for its students and I would be ecstatic to be those students. I wish to pursue a career in physics and Appalachian's well-trained teachers, research-based learning, and educational rigor rigorous would give me an advantage when pursuing a job and following my passion. Appalachian State University is an outstanding school and I would love to be a part of

Seeing that Prairie View A&M University is a small campus consisting of about 9,000 students you would believe that they are doing a lot of eco-friendly things, such as using energy efficient bulbs and having recycle bins placed near every trash can on campus. Becoming more sustainable can go way beyond the little things; the campus can install solar panels or installing a green roof. Solar panles use light energy from the sun to generate electricity through this effect called the photovoltaic effect. Installing solar panels can be very expensive, but in the end it’ll save the college a lot of money on their electricity bills. Solar energy is non polluting and it is emission free while generating electricty. Another advantage of using solar

Over the course of my education experience, I’ve been to four higher educational institutions. However, the one I want to highlight is Roberts Wesleyan College (RWC).
The university spent money on operations, non-operations, and construction of the university (Florida State University, 2016a). Operating expenses was the area where most of the spending was occurring, and sixty-three percent of the operating expenses involved compensation and employee benefits (Florida State University, 2016a). Florida State University (2016a) explained that there was approximately a five percent increase for compensation and employee benefits compared to the previous year. The operating expenses were $510.7 million more than the operating budget, and non-operating revenues were used to cover the remaining balance (Florida State University, 2016a). Non-operating expenses totaled $18.4 million, and
A staff should be recognized when they support the mission statement of the college. Formal or informal recognition of each employee creates an atmosphere of appreciation. That type of approach will underline the motives and passion to keep working towards a common goal. Faculty of any institution is an important component to a college’s success. No institution should want their staff to feel less appreciated. Teaching students, mentoring and giving knowledge to our future leaders is very important. If you look at Delaware State University (2012) reports that: “For purposes of promotion, tenure and/or merit pay each faculty member is evaluated annually in the areas of teaching, professional growth/recognition, and contributions to the University
I was accepted into Truman State University, and I have been trying to apply to the undergraduate's BSN program. However, when I tried to create an account to fill out the application, it states that my home address is invalid. I have tried multiple forms of my address, even the way the website suggested and what is written on the letters I have received from Truman. Therefore, I was wondering what I should do. Thank
There is a State University video and it seems cool. It offers a lot of majors and the school is nearby the house. One time he visited the school and has a tour with his parents. There is one tour guide that assist them to the whole University and it seems that he doesn’t know what he’s doing and they wasn’t able to complete the tour. And when they go to the gigantic lecture hall the lights are off and the tour guide can’t find the switch to turn the
