In reading the few selection of Jewish commandment laws in the article titled, "613 Mitzphahs in Judaism," made for an interesting interpretation. Thus, the following sections, I tried to explain the laws meaning, how I interpreted the law might say, and how these rules would fit into our modern society. Furthermore, I had to contemplate in which category these laws would fit in, a legal statement or moral statement of a religious/ theological statement. Starting with the law as noted in the article, "To circumcise the male offspring (Gen. 17:12; Lev. 12:3)." The law is about removing the excess skin on an infant boy's genital.
