I actually enjoyed doing this mock interview. During the mock interview, overall I felt pretty comfortable and confident. I think the biggest thing I learned from the mock interview is to give more detail in my responses to the interviewer’s questions. When answering a question from the interviewer I should answer the question just as if I was writing it in an essay. Restate the question but with an answer, give a reason or example to support my answer, and then conclude my response by tying the information together. Good listening and eye contact are a few communication skills came into play during my interview. I also learned that I have to be more direct when answering a question and state more evidence to support my answers. If I answer
As far as my own skills, I have been pretty good at being an attentive listener for a long time. In high school amongst my friends, I remember that I was always a mediator and the person they can just talk to when times were rough. I would need to work on things like self-care, being ethically minded, and having competence. It has always worried me that I will not know how to properly handle a situation in my career. To close, I learned that this job, in particular, is exactly what I have been visualizing, that taking good care of yourself is just as important, and from this interview I now have a lot of vital advice and information to continue in this direction.

At our previous class period, we had to go through a practice interview. I am happy and thankful that I did go through some interviews before in my life so I thought it was going to be a breeze, but I was mistakened. What I did noticed was this, “You will never know what you're going to be expecting at an interview.”
Lady Macbeth’s Role in The Tragedy of Macbeth The world famous Shakespearian tragedy known as Macbeth, arguably one of the most pivotal and important characters was Lady Macbeth, as not only was she the Thane’s wife, but she was the conductor of the symphony of chaos, sadness, and betrayal during the Scottish wars or a catalyst of the combination of supernatural factors and power hungry motives that led to the unfolding reactions that went down following the king's unlawful murder. Lady Macbeth was involved in manipulating Macbeth to do things for their mutual and personal gain. One of the important events Lady Macbeth contributed to was the planning and convincing of the murdering of King Duncan with Macbeth. There are many ways she did this. One of the ways was how she talked to Macbeth.

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the results of my second interview and assessment with an older adult, including a depression assessment, a pain assessment, as well as discussion of the client’s home environment and advanced directives. Finally, I will discuss a teaching topic and a list of interventions that may benefit Mrs. W. As you may recall from the first interview, Mrs. W. is retired, but volunteers at the hospital where I work. Mrs. W. is very knowledgeable about her health, as well as the importance of health promotion.
According to previously scheduled time interviewer arrived to interviewee office to conduct this interview. Interviewer explained to interviewee the purpose of doing this interview.
The interviewer was very friendly and first asked me some personal questions to break the ice. The first few questions were: “Where are you from?, Where did you go to school?, “What do you do for fun?” Next she moved onto harder questions that caught me off guard. One question I struggled with
Capital punishment is an important social justice issue that causes us to rethink the moral value and dignity of criminals. It has been abolished in a majority of the countries worldwide, however, the United States is the only remaining Western democracy that actively uses it as a punishment method. Prior to the 1970s, it was not widely supported because people believed society had an obligation to help transform the lives of criminals and give them another chance. The United States Supreme Court ruled capital punishment unconstitutional in a 1972 court case. However, public support started increasing due to the escalating occurrences of violent crimes, especially murders.
After the date for the interviews were announced, I practiced by asking myself a couple questions that I thought might be asked of me and prepared my answers; I made sure that they were “perfect” or at the very least expressed my interest in the position. The day of interviewing had come and gone. I felt pretty confident with the answers that I had given. Now, I just needed to survive the hard part: waiting.
In beginning of class when I learned that we would be doing interviews I was dreading it. I have done interviews before and it felt the same as giving a presentation in front of the entire class. I had no real knowledge of what the proper way to hold an interview was let alone as a social worker. I know I wasn’t going to be given real interviews and I would be doing the interviews along with my group made up of fellow classmates but they felt as real as they could get. But gradually over the sessions it became easier and I felt more confident about how to conduct the interview. Having the practice even mock interviews became a great way for me to learn how to have an interview and make sure I know what I am doing. Which is a
Throughout this semester this class has allowed me the privilege to get to know people who I would have never talked to on a personal level while also having the chance to advance my interviewing skills while getting to know them. Not only did these interviews and experiences display my strengths such as being able to adapt to certain situations but even more importantly it helped show me my weaknesses. After one interview and the next, I had to learn what role I had to play as within each interview I had to adapt to find my specific role as it varied from one to the next. Having the opportunity to interview a handful of people from the beginning of this semester to now has also taught me that the person you are interviewing can have a tremendous effect on if the interview goes successfully or not for reasons that I will elaborate on further in my paper. Lastly, one of the greatest lessons I learned about while interviewing people would be how to properly prepare to make sure the interview itself go as smoothly as possible. All of these factors have helped me grow in becoming a better interviewer and have helped me grow as a person.
The overall experience of mock interview was great. It turned out really well than I thought. I thought I might do badly when I answer the questions. I worried that I will make mistakes and couldn’t answer the questions during the interview. The feedbacks that I received from a staff member can help me with my future interview preparation. Her feedbacks gave me more idea of how to answer the questions, make it more professional, and persuade
When I think of the word interview I think of it as a series of questions asked from one person to another to seek information. In my previous assessment we were asked to interview a fellow peer, on their personal experience of QIBT so far this year. We were not given any question, but made to think of our own. As we were interviewing our peer another peer was marking us on our overall ability to interview. This piece of reflective writing will be an explanation of what I thought my personal strengths and weaknesses were throughout my interview.
