Well to start off my Model T Ford was created and invented by Henry Ford. Henry Ford was born July 30, 1863, on his family's farm in Dearborn, Michigan. His product had influenced the lives of Americans because it had created a new to get to places. Now people don't have to walk, use a horse, or even use a steamboat. Many people couldn't afford the Model T because it was a lot of money back then, the cost of a brand new Model T is $650.00. It had also created a new way of producing of different products, the assembly line. An assembly line is when a series of workers and machines in a factory by which a succession of identical items is progressively assembled. The Model T created mobility and prosperity on an undreamed of scale through manufacturing efficiencies at a price that anyone could afford. It is all because of the Model T we have a more efficient and faster way of producing items. Now we don't see many Model T Fords around driving, but there are a handful of in car shows.
Now in everyday life we really don't see that many Model Ts around. This is so because now they are more in car shows instead of the road, only 15 million were built and 200,000 still exist till this day. If you were to buy a Model T today they would go around from $10,000 to about $40,000, I

Now we have cars that can parallel park themselves in seconds. Although why wouldn't you want a old car, the older the car the better, that's what i say. There are much more advancements that really can't be explained because of how complicated and sophisticated the software is. Such as what the car can run off of, there are car that can be driven with vegetable oil instead of a combustible liquid. I wonder what will happen in a couple of years, but we currently do have a self driving car, which is pretty cool. All in all the Model T was the beginning of a great and fascinating evolution of
Other manufacturers were content to target the wealthy American could buy, not even considering the middle or lower class. Ford developed a design and a method of making the cars that steadily and continuously reduced the cost of the car, the car being the Model T. Instead of pocketing the money from the cars Ford used it to make better and more efficient ways to build a car. As a result, Ford Motor Company sold more cars and steadily increased its earnings. Henry Ford somehow managed to change people from the looking at an automobile as a luxury, and more like a convenience
With the success of the assembly line, Ford was very please however he had a bigger goal set. Ford wanted to produce cheap cars for the common people to use. Ford made many different types of cars and experimented with each of them. They were all good but not good enough. After many different models, Ford achieved his goal with his invention of the Ford Model T. The Model T was a fully functional compact automobile with a good transmission and torque as well as comfort and size. Apart from that, the most important aspect of the Model T was that is was extremely cheap. As Sobel states,”...the model T was only worth $290 in 1924.” This was a huge
The automobile industry put American citizens into action. Mass production was a big component in the success of automobiles. Although successful, it became very repetitive. Skilled workers who were once worshipped, were no longer needed. Henry Ford was described as racist, bitter, but he brought success to citizens in the 1920s. Ford started the Ford Motor Company in 1903 with the help of a limited amount of workers in a shed. It was not until 1914 where custom-made cars turned into many cars, such as the Model T, moving down an assembly line. The Model T was a very popular car that benefitted cheap labor and easy mobility for its owners. Ford became a billionaire from the help of the federal government’s actions. At this point, the government decided that funds should be spent more on roads. Automobiles introduced
The ford Model T was the first car mass produced in the U.S during the early 1900’s. The Model T had a 4 cylinder 20 horsepower engine that could reach speeds of about 40 miles an hour. They come in different colors, but they were mostly produced in black. They were relativley simple, and reliable cars. It changed the factor of automobiles and transportation because people went from horse and buggy to full out automobiles. Henry ford was the first person in the U.S to use what’s called the assembly line and it worked well to his advantage. The ford model t production line and other competing motor companies are different as ford had a different way of of building cars using assembly lines, while other companies did not use this method.
The Model T is proven to be one of the greatest innovations that had helped the future of what America is today. If it weren 't for the creation of Ford 's Model T which led to the introduction of the assembly line and the concept of mass production, America 's economy
Body Main Point #3: With cars always improving in style and technology people are spending more money on cars to have the best of the best. With the inovations at Tesla they were able to come out with the cheapest self driving car yet starting at only $35,000 with only a $1000 down payement, the veichiles are set to release in 2017.
When Henry Ford made the model T, was the last good moment for the electric car for 6 and a half decades. In 1920 car owners were into the gasoline car, gas was selling cheap and roads were available to drive on.
The model T was the first affordable car for all people in America. It was a huge step in the advancements of Americans and allowed people to get things done a lot faster than the old ways of
In 1896, Ford constructed his first model for a horseless carriage, the Ford Quadricycle. After attending a meeting with executives and proposing automobile ideas, Thomas Edison encouraged to build another model. Seven years later, after continuing to strive for improvement, Ford established the Ford Motor Company and his first car was assembled. Back then, only two or three cars were produced in one day, and it took the effort of groups of men. Ford wanted a more efficient production assembly, and that was when the Model T was born. Ford created the system of paying workers a steady wage to guarantee their loyalty, and moving assembly lines for mass production, which included interchangeable parts. This idea of efficiency revolutionized the American
Model S, Model X, Model S, and future Model 3 are the only car models in its factory line. And in the future, they have plans to design a cheap electric car, a new sports car, and an electric truck.
“The mass production techniques Henry Ford championed eventually allowed Ford Motor Company to turn out one Model T every 24 seconds (“Henry Ford”, History.com).” This is a remarkable accomplishment for that time period. This was all made possible by the company owner himself, Henry Ford. Ford revolutionized not only the automobile industry but also the manufacturing industry while contributing to society in countless ways.
Henry Ford revolutionized the way people traveled throughout the nation of the United States. A short time after the first model T rolled off of the assembly line, Mr. Ford found the need to create a vehicle that would ease the burden of caring for the horses that pulled the wagons and saved time for his fellow workers. The model T pickup was born! No more horses to care for, no more strapping the carriage to the horse, and defiantly no more poop to scoop. How did Mr. Ford create so much value for the people? By recognizing there was a need to take care of, a want to fulfill, and a demand to meet.
It created a better way of transportation, produced opportunities to new forms of leisure and added to the building up of the city. The Model T also added great success to the Ford Motor Company. Not only did Ford contribute his automobile, but he introduced ideas like the assembly line and through the popularity of the automobile built up industries like oil and rubber(American). Henry Ford was a man who contributed a lot to the people of his time, but not everyone felt the same way about him.
Henry Ford’s legacy began early whenever he created a self propelled wagon, but his work began to get notoriety in October of 1908 with the introduction of the Model T. This car was the first of its kind, and was fully manufactured by Ford in the United States. Henry’s goal was to produce a car that was affordable to every household income. “The Model T made its debut in 1908 with a purchase price of $825.00. Over ten thousand were sold in its first year, establishing a new record. Four years later the price dropped to $575.00 and sales soared. By 1914, Ford could claim a 48% share of the automobile market.” (Sorenson, "Henry Ford Changes the World, 1908.") The original price was in the average household’s budget, but when the price dropped four years later there was a ten times increase in the amount of Model T’s sold. Another great idol in the worlds eyes began his trek to success one century later, and has innovated his industry such as Ford did. Steve Jobs, “The Father of Apple Inc.”,
A man that went by the name of Henry Ford, once said, “I invented nothing new. I simply assembled the discoveries of other men behind whom were centuries of work…” The Ford Motor Company is an American continental automobile maker founded by Henry Ford on June 16, 1903. During the 1920s, this firm marketed automobiles that were reliable, low-cost, easy-to-operate and easier-to-fix device for the masses (Rise of the Automobile). In addition, the Ford Motor Company led the world into the expansion and refinement of the assembly line; revolutionizing our society to greater heights through its mobile products. Meanwhile, the company’s contributions benefited society through the means of the renovation of the suburbs and the invention of new services. Like no other during the 1920s, the Ford Motor Company supplied to the boom of innovations; marking its footprint to a superior society.
