We are now introduced to Ra, the ancient Egyptian solar deity, whom, identified for the most part with the midday sun, had become a major god in Egyptian religion and represented (like the earliest sun god) warmth, growth and light. The deity was of most importance, being seen as creator and ruler of all with the body (or eye of Ra) typically represented as a sun disk. Ra is credited with having created the plants, animals, months and seasons. With the belief that every night he would visit the dark world of death, only to survive the ordeal and rise in the morning with all of his creations, it only solidified his power and status. Around the second dynasty, his cult grew large enough to establish deity status. and by the fourth and fifth dynasties, pharaohs were claiming to be his earthly manifestations and even building solar temples, pyramids, and obelisks of Ra.

Ancient Egyptians are very interesting people. They were very successful and very powerful. Life in ancient Egypt was not easy. They grew their own food and made their own clothes. They did as best they could with what they had. Life in Canada seems easy compared to ancient Egypt. Their cuisine, clothing, language, government, schooling and contributions to their society were different from ours. For my essay I have written about each of these and seen the differences and similarities between ancient Egypt and Canada.
People in ancient Egypt were hard working, but they needed to have fun too. The people of ancient Egypt had many games they played for entertainment, such as hunting, board games, sports, festivals, and games for children. Many of their games were similar to the games we play today.
The ancient Egyptians culture and life was surprising and interesting. The Nile Valley was important to the Egyptians survival. They believed in gods in order to understand the natural world. Egyptians believed that art was important to life and culture, so they created numerous pieces of artwork. This makes them a fascinating people and culture.
Ra created everything the egyptians had and the other gods. Ra represents sunlight, warmth, growth and all other gods. He is considered to be the king of the gods. The first reference of Ra was in the second dynasty, in the fifth dynasty he was very powerful. The sun was considered “The Eye of Ra” or his body.
A lot of attention was put into keeping the skin supple and smooth. A number of plant oils were used as moisturizers to keep the skin nourished and refreshed. While healthy soft skin was important to all Egyptians, it was especially relevant to those who worked in the sun all day. Workers would often be paid with tubes of oil to help keep their skin protected.

This essay will examine the rise of “modern America”, there were economic, religious, and aspect of life changes took place and it was greatly changed the Americans society’s perceptions, specifically, the north and the south. The rise of “modern America” was greatly motivated immigrants to come to the United States for economic opportunity, industrialization in the North after the civil war created new businesses and job regulations, and the demand for social changes; all of these factors shaped America socially, politically, and economically.
Now, Egyptians are very fond of arts, music and sports. Football is the favorite sport of the Egyptians. Family ties are also very strong in Egypt. The males respect Egyptian women, which makes most of the big cities such as Cairo and Alexandria much safer for women than any western cities such as Sudan and Kuwait.
