Yes, there was a time where we had to pay some little wimps just to go to the bathroom at school. Now the wimp we paid was Monk Klutter. Him and his little snakes the “Mighty” Kobras would sell bathroom passes up to an buck. So yes we paid the go to the bathroom. So him and his “gang” wore an pile lined suede jacket with lizard-skin flaps over tailored Levi's and a pair of ostrich-skin boots, brassed-toe just so they can look… I guess try to look “cool.” Now the best way to describe the people that followed Monk Klutter is basically his slaves. One of the best ways to prove that is one of the Kobras carries a bag with Monks gym shoes.

Richard Kuklinski was a convicted murderer and contract killer who was born on April 11 in 1935. Kuklinski claims to have killed over 200 people over the course of his “career” during 1949 to 1986. At first, he would simply kill people who annoyed him, got on his nerves, or who he ‘needed’ to kill. When the mob caught wind of a man who killed as frivolously as Kuklinski, they began to hire him out as a contract killer. He lived in New Jersey and New York and committed most of his crimes in that area. In 1988, he was caught and sentenced to life in prison -- he later died in prison in March of 2006

Jeff Karpell was a standout outfielder for the Fairleigh Dickinson baseball program. His freshman campaign he posted the longest hit streak by reaching base safely in seven consecutive games. Karpell also led all freshmen in hitting with a .313 batting average. Karpell really stood out as a sophomore earning All-Northeast Conference honors with a .337 average, which put him 3rd on the team and 9th in the NEC. During his senior season Karpell threw out 9 base runners, which is good enough to put him first for most single season outfield assists. Karpell’s efforts are still shown in the FDU record books where he ranks: 7th in single season hits (64), 7th in triples (4), 3rd in runs batted in (59). Along with his single season achievements Karpell is also 7th in career batting average (.343), 7th in at bats (571), 5th in hits (196), 3rd in triples (9), and 2nd in RBIs (145).

Kit foxes, also called Vulpes Macrotis are among the smallest foxes in America. The kit fox is very easily mistaken for a dog however when you look at their appearance you realize that proportions are not that of a dog's. Many people often confuse the kit fox with its larger cousin, the grey desert fox.

He got into a motorcycle accident and he received a $15,000 settlement off it. Because Kemper couldn't work, he decided to use the money to buy a car and pick up young female hitchhikers around the area. At first, he would take them safely to their destination, but then he delved into his disturbing fantasies and began buying tools he might need to kill them with like a gun, knife and handcuffs. His first two victims were Mary Ann Pesce and Anita Luchese, who were students at Fresno State College that went hitchhiking to Stanford University while staying in Berkeley. Edmund Kemper picked them up on May 7, 1972. While driving around for a bit, Kemper took his gun out of under his seat and drove them into a isolated area. He took Anita into the
Jamar clark African American, 24 years old was shot by the minneapolis police on november 15 2015. Two officers were involved Mark Ringgenberg and Dustin Schwarze, protestants of black life matters and other institutions that support civil rights are unsatisfied because no charges were pressed against the two officer. In my opinion the death of Jamar Clark is not justified with enough evidence that proves the innocence of the officers.
“Although 8,398 Iowans died during World War II, the death of the University of Iowa's only Heisman Trophy winner shook the state like no other wartime tragedy.” Although College Football ranked him as the ninth greatest college football player of all time, Nile Kinnick is perhaps best remembered, as Charles Bullard summed up in The Des Moines Register, for his strength of character and his sacrifice to his country (Lidd).
Racial Bias and Automatic Response in the Misidentification of WeaponsOn March 18th, 2018 Sacramento police officers shot and killed 22-year-old Stephon Clark in the backyard of his grandmother’s house after mistaking his cellphone for a gun. The fatal shooting of Stephon Clark is just one of many incidences where unarmed black men have fallen victim to implicit racial biases. When police officers are pressured to make split second decisions their unconscious biases toward black men becomes present and influences their judgement against black men whom they suspect to be armed with guns but are in fact unarmed. With today’s technological advancements and the media’s ability to reach a large population of people there is greater awareness of
King Duncan, murdered at the age of 89 on January 11, 1607, was a strong and noble leader who loved and protected the people of his country. A destined hero, and a beloved King of Scotland. He was born on March 26th, 1518 in Dunsinane, Scotland to Lady Macella and King Luther lll. He was an only child and got married to Lady Suthen at the age of 14. He had two sons, Malcolm the older son who was to be the Prince of Cumberland, and Donalbain who will lead the Scotland Army. Duncan never harmed anyone who would look up to him, and never looked to betray his people. Though it was apparent Duncan would soon face death because of his age, none thought it would be so soon, and none thought it would be to murder. King Duncan was not just a man who
Spending much of her childhood in the German Coast of Acadiana, Darleen Jenkins holds on tightly to her family traditions. Moving from Luling to Houma, down to Dularge and back up to Houma again, she has been able to spot differences in the regions’ foods based on both time and place. She reminisces fondly of times when her family came together to share in meals and memories. Speaking with her one couldn’t help but to want to hear more about her childhood and transitions through adulthood.
Throughout high school I have grown as an athlete and person. I have loved playing sports my whole life, but I have learned to love giving back to the community and youth even more. Although playing sports have taken me across the country and also brought much success and joy to me, nothing brings more pleasure than passing my skills and knowledge on to the youth here in Knappa.
Nevertheless, Tacitus also wrote after the time of Augustus at the end of the first century AD, however unlike other sources he conveys a very bias perspective on Augustus and his rule. This may be due to the change that Augustus made to the government, especially when the empire was left to be run by power hungry successors after Augustus’s death. This in hand would of left Tacitus blaming Augustus as he was the first roman emperor, leaving Tacitus to experience tyranny, corruption and decadence which may explain his bitter and ironic political analysis. This is also seen as his writings are filled with snide remarks (innuendo) of Augustus and essentially how he created corruption, governmental scandal and innocent people being destroyed because of his lust for power. Overall, these three sources are equally biased because they were all issued after Augustus’s reign yet still show a depiction of Augustus which is an opposing view to that found in other sources, as all three of the primary sources believed that an emperor
