The Similarities and Differences between a Car and Motorcycle
Many people prefer cars over motorcycles. A lot of people also prefer a motorcycle over a car. You may prefer to ride a bike because you are more comfortable on it than inside a car, but others like to drive a car than ride a bike because they feel secure being incased by a metal. There are many differences between a car and a motorcycle and so are our personal preferences.
There is a constant argument of what is better between cars and motorcyles. Both differs on wheels and overall physics. They move, stop and turn differently.A motorcycle can cover a small space while a car covers a big space. Since a car is larger, it can carry more people. A car is used by people, to go to the office, shopping malls, and to vacation destinations along with family members. It can waste more resources and can distract the driver from the environment. This distraction is common of road accident. A person inside the car is less aware of his surrounding thus allowing the person to use his mobile phone while driving, read or eat resulting to more accidents. .However, these are not the only difference between the two and they both have similarities also. A car has more balance than a motorcycle.
A car is covered, and the passengers do not face weather like the rider on a motorcycle, as they are uncovered. Car takes more space for parking, while a motorcycle needs a very small space. While gear changing in a car is through hand, in a motorcycle, it is done by foot. A car driver must wear a seatbelt for protection while a motorcycle rider must wear a helmet to prevent any head injury. A car has 4 wheels while a motorcycle has 2 wheels only. A motorcycle is made for 2 people while a car can have 4-5 passengers. A car is better suited in light traffic while a motorcycle is better suited for both light as well as in heavy traffic. A car is spacious and can carry more stuff. Both car and motorcycles uses gas, the average motorcycle gets around 50-60 miles per gallon.Compare that to the average car which, according to the Environment Protection Agency (EPA), gets 23.6 mpg on average as of 2013, and
riding bikes would be prohibited because those types of vehicles are not meant for city street riding, I
When choosing a vehicle that would get you from one place to another, would you not choose the better alternative? In discussions of vehicular transportation, one controversial issue has been whether or not people should use electric cars or gas powered cars. On one hand, others contend that people should not use gas powered cars over electric cars.On the other hand, people argue that gas powered cars should be used over electric cars People should use electric cars because they are better for the environment, are cheaper and the government provides better incentives than gas powered cars.
There are two basic types of motorcycles. One type is made for riding on smooth
Motorcycle Wrecks: The majority of motorcycle wrecks are caused by others in larger vehicles. Recovery includes maximum compensation for what are often serious injuries.
If you are planning to travel with friends and take your truck with you a dirt bike is easier to load into a truck and doesn't take up as much room so you can take more friends with you.So if you are looking to save money than a dirtbike is the way to
This is usually an issue as everyone who rides a motorcycle wears leather, to protect themselves incase they fall of, as leather is tough and is quiet resistant to tearing. Many people also go to bars and if they are going by themselves a motorcycle is cheaper to get around.
A street motorcycle usually has a larger frame and it is heavy and metal. The frame of a dirt bike is typically lighter and smaller because it uses mostly hard plastic with minimal metal. The street motorcycles larger heavier frame offers more stability to the rider and the dirt bikes smaller lighter frame offers more agility. Dirt bikes also go off jumps so a lighter frame is better. Street motorcycle and dirt bikes are not equipped with the same suspension.
Although US and Vietnam have many similarities, they also have greater differences. First of it, In US, people use cars as the main transportation method. They prefer cars than other transportation because of several reasons. The climate in US is not suitable for driving motorbikes. Some states have cold climate, for example, Alaska and North Dakota. As a matter of fact, Alaska has an average daytime summer temperatures range from approximately 55 to 78 degrees Fahrenheit, and North Dakota has an average of 57 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, in Alaska, the average winter temperatures range from 5 to 30 degrees Fahrenheit and from 23 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit in North Dakota. So it is not suitable to drive motorbikes in US. Secondly, roads system in US is made for car transportation, because it doesn’t have lanes for motorbikes. Typically, a highway in US have 10 lanes. On the other hand, Vietnamese people use motorbike as the main transportation method. It is easy to understand because streets in Vietnam are mostly small and tight, so cars cannot drive into it. Furthermore, in peak hours, travelling by motorbikes will save much time because they can wriggle through every spaces possible. Additionally, using cars in Vietnam is increasing the amount of carbon dioxide that is expelled to the environment because Vietnam doesn’t have a modern technology to create an eco-friendly car which produces less gas to the environment. In conclusion, Vietnamese people
You are making a long-term commitment by buying your first car. You are faced with a tough decision between a truck or a car, and you must weigh the options you have. Trucks are the better choice of vehicle because of off-road capabilities, they can pull heavy loads, and they have more power
In the early ages of the United States, transportation was difficult and often times tedious. Many Americans were ecstatic when the automobile was invented, as it allowed people the freedom to travel as they pleased. Since then, cars have been a staple in the United States and are still as important as ever. Cars and other automobiles should remain in the daily lives of typical Americans because they are convenient in remote areas, make some traveling easier, and for the most part, help improve the economy.
Technology has brought many luxuries to people. The invention of the automobile has brought convenience to everyday living. People use their vehicles to commute to work, school, home, and other events. Some people cannot even imagine living life without the use of an automobile. People have different tastes in the type of automobile that they drive; the automotive industry has made several different ways to commute. The car and the sports utility vehicle seem to be the most common types. The sports utility vehicle is inferior to the car.
According to me, the motorcycle industry is very attractive. The main reason to back my claim is the level of competition in the industry. There is a very high level of completion between all the companies present in this particular segment. The main factors that drive this rivalry are different positions of different players within the industry, differences in technical know-how, different marketing campaigns, differences in core nature of the products and differences in strategies. The players in this particular industry don’t fight over price of their products, they rather compete with each other in terms quality of their products and the nature of their services to different segments of customers. Each player had its own unique strategy and nature of the product for a particular segment of customers, this tends to intensify the competition amongst companies in the industry.
It must be noted that cars are dangerous vehicles which can cause fatal damage. Individuals responsible for a vehicle are expected to be more alert than pedestrians walking down the street or crossing the road, this is known as “destructive disparity”. This
Wilson argues that without cars, we would have to live very close together in apartments and row houses so that we could walk to public transportation depots. He also says that we would miss seeing the beaches and the countryside except for an occasional glimpse from a bus or train window. We would have city upon city. Still, the car haters tell us that with the use of bikes and public transportation we will have less pollution, noise and our energy is used more efficiently. Well what about the benefits? Wilson states "The automobile is more flexible, more punctual, supplies greater comfort, provides for carrying more parcels, creates more privacy, enables one to select fellow passengers, and, for distances over a mile or more, requires less travel time" (308). So to those that reject the notion of an automobile, Wilson says, "The car does exist, and has powerfully affected the living, working, and social spaces of America" (304).
