I'm currently involved in TRIO, Key Club, and Girl's Tennis, but I will participate more this year, like bowling and trying for Knowledge Bowl.
My goals for the remainder of my high school career is to maintain my GPA, but also get myself more involved socially and physically active.
Mount Tahoma has been the most spirited school I had ever seen and experienced. I just love the positive energy and the diversity here, and as an introvert myself, Mount Tahoma makes everyone feel like they belong and part of the school. I'm glad to call myself a Mount Tahoma T-Bird.
Mount Tahoma is already a great place. I'll personally try my best to encourage and support a lot of people to get more involved because I really do regret not being involved for
This school year, I want to get more involved with clubs and athletics that interest me. I am in HOSA and Student Government; which I would like to run for a office in Student Government at the end of the school year. I was also apart of the football and basketball teams and I am also going to try to be on the track team. Furthermore, as the year progresses, I want to receive all A's in my classes (have succeeded so far). In English this year I am going to further my reading and writing skills. To do so, I will need to practice these skills continuously which I feel that I can accomplish.
While in high school I plan to maintain a 3.5 GPA or greater while staying involved and prospering in the sports and activities I practice. In the winter I plan to go to State in Knowledge bowl and go to State and possibly the National DECA tournament as well. The success in these activities will lead colleges and companies to be more attracted to me so I can later get jobs easier and get scholarships to reduce college debt later. While in high school I am also planning to establish a free speech organization to promote overall knowledge and understanding of others while
Imagine a single event that can kill 57 people and 7000 deer and elk. Snap trees like a toothpick, and turn the sky grey for 15 days. Now, stop imagining, Mount St. Helens, in the Cascade Range of southwestern Washington State, erupted. On May 18th,1980. According to (Campbell 371), “At least $1 billion in economic damage was reported”. The eruption of Mount St. Helens took many lives, and devastated America. On this day in 1863, Union troops capture Lookout Mountain southwest of Chattanooga, Tennessee,as they begin to break the Confederate siege of the city. In the “battle above the clouds,” the Yankees scaled the slopes of the mountain on the periphery of the Chattanooga lines.
For my place narrative assignment, I chose to focus on a place that I not only visit frequently, but truly appreciate: Mount Douglas. This is a place I value not only for its beauty, but for the calmness it allows me to experience as a result of being part of nature. As it turns out, this has been the location of many important histories, dating back hundreds of years, and is still making history today. This history is significant both ecologically, and culturally, and is something I have enjoyed learning about. Through researching this place, and its surrounding area I have come to learn its importance branches far greater than its importance to me.
Voted the second most beautiful vista in America, Mount Washington is a well-known overlook of downtown Pittsburgh. Mount Washington, now a beautiful mountain with a tree covered Cliffside, was not always known for its sights. Many are unaware of the dirty environment that it used to be. Once known as Coal Hill, Mount Washington was the location of many coal mines. Back in the late 1800’s, this mountain was the source that fueled and built Pittsburgh. From the ravaging coal minds to the breathtaking Inclines, there is a lot of history that is hidden under the beautiful area which we now know as Mount Washington.

There are many reasons for memorializing a person or creating a monuments have to fit in a certain factors whether that be to remember people that gave their lives or people that made the world better by changing history. There is the large monument in South Dakota Peak of Crazy Horse and it is close to Mount Rushmore in Rapid city that represents powerful people for two different cultures. There was a holocaust museum made in the National Park Mall that was for the remembrance for those who died in the holocaust. The Lincoln memorial was made to represent something more than President Lincoln to remember how he changed history for the better. Memorializing is what we use to remember those changed the world for good, those who were on the right

Mount Everest is one of the tallest mountains in the world. It is part of the Himalayan Mountains. They were formed in the last few million years. After the supercontinent of Laurasia broke up millions of years ago, India moved slowly north towards Asia and then crashed into it. The seabed between the two plates(the earth's crust is divided into large areas of land called plates) was crumbled and pushed up on the northern rim of India to form mountains. These two plates of the earth's crust are still moving, so the Himalayas are being pushed up higher. The highest mountain on the planet, Mount Everest is growing two inches taller each year. Satellite technology says the mountain is currently 29,107

Mt. Etna erupted on the 3rd of December, 2015. Sicilians were not damaged by this explosion of magma and rock.
