Toy Story was filmed in 1995 by director John Lasseter. The film introduced CGI which stands for Computer Generated Imagery. CGI deals with computer graphics and 3D graphics to make the special effect of the film. The film uses the theme of two different characters learning how to get along with each other to get through the problems that they face. With that in mind, the film uses music and characters to give the importance of the theme. The film uses music and characters to describe the theme. The music in Toy Story is a little bit different than other animated films. The film is not like the movie Frozen as they pretty much sing throughout the entire movie. This film mainly has two songs that relate to the main important characters in Toy Story which relays a message of who they are. For example, the theme song of the movie is “Friend in Me”, when Andy is playing with Woody. Also, when Andy gets Buzz Lightyear for his birthday as a gift from his parents. Then the song changes to Buzz Light year theme song, “Strange Things”. This is when Woody started to act afraid thinking that he was going to get replaced as Andy’s favorite toy. After that, he started to change his actions around all his friends and they started to not associate with him anymore. To that end, the songs that are used related to the characters personality and actions.
