Lord business is the complete opposite of President Business. Lord Business is a very evil and selfish leader. Lord Business wants to take over the world himself and the leadership style he portrays is Dictatorship. Dictatorship is when one person has all of the power which Lords Business did have. My research assignment # 1 I picked the movie “ Monsters , inc “ by Pixar teamed up with disney, the director was pete Docter in 2001 the movie was first released ,the movie will be 16 years old today. when first came out the movie was a big hit. This movie is showed through the eyes of the two monsters , as the movie goes on ,the two main characters learns that they should not be scared of something you do not understand, at the end of the movie they both learn overcome they fear. I think the director was trying to show that important of laughter in life , It is truly more stronger than fear.

As they are all escaping the daycare, Lotso approaches and pushes them into the dumpster. Thankfully for Woody, the baby expresses his good heart and throws in Lotso into the dumpster with them. Sadly, the dumpster was just picked up and was off to the landfill. As they were fighting to get out of the landfill before the big fire, Lotso escapes and leave Woody behind. Woody and his friends were doomed, but at the last second the claw came down (controlled by the Aliens), and were picked them up and brought to safety. Finally, Woody returned and brought the gift of, being a hero to his friends, and the gift of remembering his past mistakes. The hero's journey in Toy Story 3 was expressed through the toy cowboy: Woody. Throughout his journey, he learned to be courageous and to be determined. As he was being taught through the journey and by the mentor he was learning how to become a hero. Without this key journey, the story of the movie would not be the same. Instead, the path of the story could have been accepting your mistakes because of the mistake of going to daycare. But from the journey, he learned a different lesson and is now a hero for helping his friends get out of the daycare.

The 1971 Mel Stewart film, “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”, is about a little boy named Charlie Bucket, who is very poor and wants to do something to help his family. The movie starts by showing that there is a contest going on for people to win a special tour through the factory of Wonka Chocolate Company and a lifetime supply of chocolate. There are only five special golden tickets hidden inside products from the Wonka Company. When the five people have found the tickets, there is a big gathering on the day of the tour with big crowds of people and news people too to see Mr wonka come out from his factory to greet the winners. When the children and their parents are inside the factory the children sign a thing saying they will not steal or take information or do bad things and they all go on their way for the tour. Right away, it all seems very strange with coat hooks that move and weird size doors and rooms. Inside of the factory is very much a different world. The workers are small orange men who sing songs telling about the behaviors people should not have.

Specific Purpose: The purpose is to inform on how all Pixar movies exist in the same universe and is telling the same story just jumping around in time. This timelines includes Toy Story (1995), A Bug’s Life (1998), Toy Story 2 (1998), Monsters Inc. (2001), Finding Nemo (2003), The Incredibles (2004), Cars (2006), Ratatouille (2007), WALL-E (2008), Up (2009), Toy Story 3 (2010), Cars 2 (2011), Brave (2012) ,and 2013 Monsters University (Negroni, 2015).

Another very unique attraction that Disney's Hollywood Studios offers is the Toy Story Mania ride. Expanding on the Buzz Lightyear ride at Magic Kingdom this is the perfect attraction to bring the whole family on. The interactive element of competing against each other make this ride a repeat favorite.

Despite being one of the most popular, if not most popular, animated movies of all-time, Toy Story offers a limited perspective when it comes to gender because of manhood acts, homosociality, and stereotypes. The manhood acts in the film suppress women at the same time as they support the hegemonic masculinity, which is the masculinity that actively attempts to suppress women and inferior masculinities (Bird pg. 129). When the male characters in the movie do this, it approves of this negative behavior that limits the voice of the female characters. Additionally, the lack of female characters causes the film to portray homosociality, which prevents young girls from seeing a variety of representations of women in the toys. Also, the stereotypes in the movie reduce women to second class citizens. Both male and female stereotypes in the movie support the hegemonic masculinity. Ultimately, the depiction of manhood acts, homosociality, and stereotypes in the film, Toy Story, actively support the hegemonic masculinity at the expense of other gender identities.

Toy Story is the groundbreaking 1995 motion picture developed by Disney and Pixar and directed by John Lasseter. The film was so revolutionary not only because it was the first feature length animation to be created completely by CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) but also, also the film was more rounded in all respects. The characters not only looked more sophisticated and three-dimensional but their personalities were also more human and fewer cartoons like. It has been discovered that there is indeed a common theme surrounding both George Orwell’s novel 1984 and the LEGO movie. These pieces of literature serve to warn its readers/audience of the dangers of totalitarianism. Both the movie and the novel portray a “perfect” totalitarian society, where the government has complete and total power and control. When one looks beneath the surface of these “perfect” societies, it becomes evident that they are nothing of the sort. “Everybody loves babies”, a trademark quote from the documentary movie “Babies” features an insight on the many reasons babies are loved. Although many documentaries are narrated, director Thomas Balmès uses a different approach by eliminating a voiceover. By manifesting this film without narration, he focuses on a learning technique all babies go through in their early stages of life. Aiming for viewers to learn from observation, as babies do, we are left to focus on the babies, their environment and interactions. Through subtitles, this film reveals the different locations the footage of the four newborns are from. By viewing the babies different upbringings from different cultures, we learn how the various lifestyles of each culture impacts a child’s development. The babies are Hattie from California, Mari from Japan, Bayar from Mongolia, and Ponijao from Namibia.The film shows the infancy and toddlerhood period of the babies as well as their development physically, cognitively, and socially.

Perhaps, the reasons these films are so popular and influential to children is simply because their focus is directed distinctively towards them. Each character in Disney films possesses a distinct personality wherein children who watches these films may tend to characterize themselves as the character also.

It simply takes the audience into a magical world of what is going on throughout the segments whether it be with spirits or dinosaurs. Starting out as a failure after being released and barely making any money, this movie is one of a kind as it rose to fame and reached its peak as the 22nd most grossing film.
